The apartment is well located…a short Uber ride or a moderate walk from the centre, Motorpoint (Utilita) arena, etc. Access instructions were straightforward. One double bed and two singles were an ideal set-up for us. There is no kitchen, but a kettle and a microwave did the trick for a quick breakfast. The free parking, in the form of a resident’s parking permit organised in advance by the owner, was a definite bonus. It’s on-street parking…find a space where you can, but there were spaces available when we arrived. The Caernarfon suite is at the back of the house, and despite being a busy road, there was no traffic noise.

The property was very clean and tidy, shower was superb and beds very comfortable. The property warmed up very quickly once heating was turned on and was lovely and warm.

The sofa bed was not comfortable at all unfortunately, it wasn't even comfortable to sit on let alone sleep on it. It also tilted down on one side which felt a little insecure. My niece had to sleep on the other sofa that didn't turn into a bed. There were 5 of us staying and only 3 kit Kats which I know seems petty but was a little silly that we were unable to have a kit kat each with a cuppa and had to share the kit Kats between 5 of us. We couldn't get the t.v to work either, it had frozen but that could of been down to the weather maybe.

Great and speedy communication with the owner. Perfect location for the town centre and venues. Clean and comfortable. Brilliant being able to park outside for free! Lovely added touches of milk in the fridge and some snacks. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Can’t really fault the property but I just wouldn’t choose the room we had again. We had Harlech room which is the first room on the left by the front door. Noisy when other people talking loudly when coming in and out. Maybe a polite notice in the hall about noise and respecting other residents as you enter and exit. I’d choose an upstairs room for this reason.

My friend and I were attending a concert at Utilita Arena and so I booked this apartment for us to stay in Cardiff. We arrived to our 2-bedroom apartment in the late afternoon, it was so nicely decorated and clean which is one of the biggest things for me when staying away. The owner was very communicative and kept us updated the entire time on how to get in to the property and who to contact for any help, we also saw the owner on our way out and he was extremely polite and courteous, chatting with us about our trip, it was lovely, very warm and welcoming vibes. Honestly I booked this because of the sheer amount of sheep in the photos, I absolutely loved it, but it was an absolute steal! So close to the city centre and perfect for our trip.

Our room was at the rear of the property which was comfortable and quiet. Little extras were appreciated - tea, coffee, light snacks, milk and filtered water on the fridge with kettle, microwave & fridge, plates, cups, glasses & cutlery great addition. Toiletries, towels were great in the bathroom. Access to internet and smart TV also great. Beds comfy. Parking was accessible outside with a visitors permit provided by the host. Access and instructions easy to follow. All in all a very good stay.

very comfortable accommodation, centrally located and brilliant for walking to city centre, university, castle, parks. my daughter and I liked having two double bedrooms and a fabulous shower with lovely products. little kitchenette - kettle, microwave, plates, fridge, cutlery - easy to be independent. it was quiet, effective double glazing despite being central and a busy street. it was very spacious for the price. I would stay again and I would recommend it.

my daughter would have loved a hairdryer and a lock on the bathroom door for complete perfection. the street was a little run down but we felt safe, and the central location and value for money more than compensated for this.

Good location near the Castle, Principality Stadium and city centre. Good communication from the hosts and easy to access the property on arrival. Lots of nice little touches. Clean, fresh, modern rooms with a great bathroom. So much better than a hotel.

Not a complaint as such, just something that people should be aware of. All communications stated 11am latest check out but after arrival an email was received stating 10am check out or £15 for the extra hour. I only actually picked this up at bedtime during our stay.

Family stay - parents and 2 adult daughters. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Very grateful for the fan in the bedroom (which we moved into the living room for the girls). Great location just a quick walk down the street from Cardiff Castle, Principality Stadium and the many restaurants, pubs and shops just beyond that. Bathroom was well stocked with towels for the 4 of us.

Unfortunately 24 hour parking not available… but this was specified in the booking information (we parked our car at the rental lot behind the Holiday Inn). As it was June and during the heatwave, perhaps include a second fan in the unit for those sleeping on the sofa bed?

Check in and check out are both super easy and clearly explained by the host. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a treat with its strong natural light, clever wood finishes and very glam shower. I enjoyed the local insights provided in the reading material the host provided - both the info about the property and the books in the apartment. Thank you for the tea selection, the fresh milk and the snacks. Thank you also for allowing us to drop our luggage prior to official check-in.

The carpet in the lounge felt like it could do with a deep clean.

Cleanliness and comfort

No parking permit - street parking is great but I had to move the car by 8am or risk a fine and if I had arrived earlier than I did parking would have also been an issue before I think 5.30 I lost about 2 hours of my trip driving about to find alternative parking in an unfamiliar place which was busy with traffic. The machine in one car park did not work ) in the end I left my car 10 mins away in the street then it was a pain leaving with luggage etc as my family member is not very mobile - shame as this affected what would otherwise have been a lovely stay.
