Lovely staff, vert large room and comfortable bed.

Breakfast not good value. Cheap products. Night staff didn't clean tables from dinner time so had breakfast alongside previous nights messy tables.

Dog friendly. Good location. Nice pub over the road

£15 a night for the dog. Whole place needs a good clean. Toilet seat not designed for the toilet it was on. Breakfast was a fiasco. Told that breakfast started at 7. They hadn’t even turned the lights on at 7. They actually take your order around 7. Breakfast turned up at 7.40. Don’t have breakfast if you’re in a hurry. However waiter did apologise. Best to order and go back to bed for 40 minutes.

Outstanding ! Never been made to feel so welcome and valued as we were at Bennetts Hotel in Long Eaton on 11th and 12th June 2023. The owner and staff are so friendly and kind, nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is clean and airy with everything looking like it's new or less than a year old. The homemade Indian food is totally outstanding, extremely good price too !!! We honestly could not recommend this hotel enough and will stay here again next time we go to the spa at Long Eaton which is literally 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.

Staff excellent very helpful and friendly,the restaurant meal was really good and not to expensive would recommend a meal here to anyone staying around the area.Bennetts Lager is nice and smooth went well with the meal, the room was a good size and shower room was impressive for the price we paid.

The room could be a bit cooler heating was too warm and more attention when cleaning the TV and shower room walls it was not dirty but little things count.

Good for the price. The room was large. The bathroom had a rainshower with good pressure and temperature water. (The bed/furnishings were 'acceptable'). The food - breakfast was huge and very tasty. Indian evening meal was great too. Staff were friendly & helpful Offsite car parking included in charges - but you do have to register the car correctly at reception to avoid a hefty fine!

Breakfast wait was too long - the shortest time we waited was 40minutes. On one morning, about 5 guests left before their breakfast arrived - at least 2 of whom had been waiting about an hour. As you'd expect (based on the price) parts of the building are a bit run down/grubby

Only had new owners for the last couple of months , so looks like they are trying their absolute best . Very comfy large bed in the family room , very clean , large TV . Large bathroom , lovely shower . Tastefully decorated inside . Games room and lounge area, well stocked bar area with a really nice canopy outdoor space to the front , which beautifully lit up at night . The two Sisters are amazing and tried their very best to make our stay the best my granddaughters loved that , a kind gesture was on our last day they packed a lunch for the girls to eat on the journey home. There are great transport links within 100 yards even into Nottingham, the Train Station is within 3 miles. Asda , Tesco are on the doorstep . The area is a wee run down but didn't take away from the Hotel . It's also an Indian restaurant .

Not a dislike as such. just one male member of the staff needed probably to learn management and hospitality skills ,I think he was helping out while the business was young but think he could give the Hotel a bad impression , which would be unfair As the Sisters and the cleaner were amazing , friendly , organised and nothing was too much trouble . Maybe he would be better helping out behind the scenes ( just a suggestion)

Reception staff could not have been more helpful and willing to please. Room had everything that we needed. Beds very comfortable though may be a little short for six footers. We stayed for 2 nights. Free car parking provided. Had excellent fish and chips (wife had chicken burger and salad) in restaurant. Highly recommend especially if you are a fan of Indian cuisine. Sadly I am not.

The shower was a overhead nonadjustable head. Not helpful when wife wanted to shower without getting hair wet. We failed to take a waterproof hair net. Shower temperature difficult to control and we lost all hot water when someone else ran theirs. I am not a fan of cold showers! Room not being cleaned after first night was not a problem but we would have appreciated having tea /coffee facilities replenished and fresh crockery. I expect that had we mentioned to reception it would have been very promptly dealt with.

The property was in a very convenient area for our spa day and near the town. But mostly the staff / owners were amazing couldn’t do enough for you

if honest it could do with an update. Does need to be decorated and good clean up outside but this could be over looked because of the way we’re treated - the staff are amazing

Really big room, fantastic shower, and a fabulous evening meal in the indian restaurant on-site. Reccommend the desserts. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Minor maintenance things needed sorting but didnt affect our stay - missing lightbulb in shower and tv remote had seen better days. Didnt detract from our stay at all though!

the property was well situated, it was clean and it a was great value for money. having the restaurant attached was brilliant, the food was fantastic! service and everything overall, I would definitely be back.

the room was a bit cold at night time and I didn’t have an electric heater. This was down to the heating being on a summer timer still. it didn’t ruin my stay though.
