Lovely building set in beautiful grounds, we had a very peaceful stay. We had a standard room which was a good size, bathroom was clean, hand wash, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo/ conditioner included. The bed was comfortable for us, it was a double and we have a super kingsize at home, so it did feel a bit cosy, but we slept fine. Iron, ironing board, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. The TV had a button for Netflix, so we could just log in to our own account. Free wifi was also available. We ate breakfast at the hotel, it was fresh and cooked well, nice selection of continental options available too, plenty of fresh juice etc. The staff on both mornings were pleasant and polite, the lady on reception was also very pleasant and helpful during our stay. We only used the bar once but the drinks were reasonable. Plenty of parking available, including EV Charge bays in the overflow car park. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again if visiting the area, thank you for a lovely stay.

The room was quite warm (we stayed mid-August) as we were on the top floor and there is no air conditioning as it’s an old building. A fan was provided though and the windows opened fully for a good breeze. The room was clean but could probably do with a little facelift, some marks on the wallpaper and carpet, some paint chipped etc, but nothing that caused an issue on would put us off returning. We were on the top floor and there were quite a few stairs, if you have mobility issues then I’d recommend calling ahead about your room allocation.

The staff are brilliant. They were very quick to resolve issues we had and made our stay most enjoyable despite a few small issues at the start of the trip. The hotel itself is also lovely and full of character. Breakfast is fab. We would definitely come back and recommend

On arrival we had some issues with our room. There was a stain on the bed linen, we had a summer duvet and some dreadfully thin pillows. However after raising with staff, each issue was resolved immediately, with staff going above and beyond to rectify our complaints.

Room was huge, bed very comfy, food well presented.

I booked on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis with dinner an extra £25.00 pp, pn. I did not notice and it wasn’t very clear on booking.com that the additional cost for dinner was only a contribution towards food and did not cover the whole bill if someone were to choose something from menu that exceeded this amount. I only noticed this when reading the small print from the confirmation email that the hotel sent. Having said that there were one or two dishes on the menu that did come within the contribution amount.

Fabulous stay . Lovely friendly staff. We were upgraded on arrival to an executive room- it was huge! Very much appreciated. 2 sofas in the seating area with all amenities. Restaurant was good. At dinner we sat in the window area which was a bit cold as it’s an old building but we moved table without any problem. Staff very attentive without being over powering. Meal was lovely as was breakfast the next morning. Definitely like to go back in the summer to sit out on the gorgeous terrace in the grounds.

Check out was 10.30 am and we had a call in the room at 10.32 to ask if we wanted to pay for a late check out but I said we were on our way out. Bit much only being 2 minutes late! Other than that it was fab.

It is always a pleasure to stay, the location is lovely, the gardens are well kept and a visual delight, the staff are always pleasant and helpful and the rooms are always clean and well appointed. It is close to where I need to be, yet far enough away to be quiet. So I keep coming back......

My only slight grumble was that the hot breakfast could have been hotter, but I do understand the logistics of the catering, so I do know why it wasn't as hot as I would have preferred. That said it was well cooked and tasty, so not much of a grumble really,

Although we'd seen the exterior on the website, we had no idea of the grand interior that was awaiting us - a lovely log fire in the main reception area, and a split staircase leading up to the bedrooms. We were made to feel welcome by all the hotel team. We booked a classic double, which was a spacious room with a large bathroom, and nicely furnished. The bear on the bed is a nice welcoming touch. The bed was very comfortable, and we both had an excellent nights sleep. The bar area was good, with comfortable seating, and the restaurant was another grand room with wood paneling. Our dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast.

The room was a little chilly when we arrived, which we fixed by adjusting the radiator. Also the room safe was locked, but we were supplied a key by reception. These are only minor issues, but perhaps could have been checked before our arrival. We were a little surprised by the absence of bathrobes in the room, but as we were only staying one night, it wasn't a big issue.

Stunning building that is steeped in history which the current owners embrace and pay tribute too. The gardens are well kept and lovely to walk around. Great for either heading into The Wirral, North Wales or Ellesemere\ Chester. The beds were comfy and the staff were delightful and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean as well.

There was nowhere convenient in the bathroom to put a wash bag ( this is a really minor niggle). Overnight the room was roasting and we couldn’t find a way of turning the temperature down. Again it wasn’t the end of the world as we slept without any quilt.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Room was great as was the food. We booked half board which basically included a voucher for £25 each to choose from the a la carte menu so evening meal wasn’t really included in the price, our meal was about £80 so we had to put £30 towards it. HB was £135 and B & B was £85 so there was no real benefit to booking HB.

There was a murder mystery night on when we went which we weren’t told about. Went down for a drink in the bar at 7.30 and there was literally nowhere to sit. We did advise reception but they just said to go and sit in the restaurant which wasn’t exactly comfortable. Had to use the overflow car park which is a bit of a walk from the entrance, good job it wasn’t pouring down.

The breakfast was excellent and well cooked. The location was beautiful but I found the hotel hard to find. Tom the General Manager was very charming, friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to come and look for us in his car to escort us to the hotel when we got lost trying to find it. He is an exceptional and dedicated General Manager. In fact all the staff at the Inglewood Manor were very friendly and helpful.

The eaton mess dessert could have been better. The carpet in the bedroom was a bit old and badly fitted.
