The building, facilities, location were all great, and also the staff we met were friendly and pleasant. I asked for a comfortable chair in the bedroom and one was put in for us. Very clean.
The directions to find it were difficult - especially the parking. The emailed map directions were fuzzy and the ones texted were tiny on the phone - the option to email again to print off not possible as we were already away. Satnav brought us to the front door ok, but then finding the car parking was a lottery. Would have been helpful to know that the carparks interlink so we could have gone in another carpark we drove past twice and still found it. Key pad for the front was also weird - next door, and then find your way round to the back. Would have been much better to have been welcomed and spoken to.

I loved this place. The breakfast situation is a bit weird (you all eat around a big table with the other guests), but the actual room was lovely and very comfy bed. It's all very faded glamour - a big family house converted into rooms, but with beautiful old features everywhere and lots of photos.
The parking situation was a bit awkward - we tried to find out if we could both park (we had two cars) but no one answered our message. And the breakfast was pretty standard and not great for non meat eaters. There's no one there at all - you basically arrive and let yourself into your room without ever meeting anyone.

Loved the ambiance of the building and rooms. The location could not be better, quiet, yet right in the centre of Chichester. Slept very well on a very comfortable bed with comfortable pillows too - thank you.
A difficult one as it is an old building and I know they take a lot of up-keep. This is not a complaint, but it is tired and it would have been nice to have a shower. Saying this, I loved the character of the place and the bath was wonderful; a fantastically large bathroom with a deep, deep bath. Really, not a complaint at all, just observational as you have asked.

The location was fantastic, just a five-minute walk from the town. I could not fault the staff they were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large and had everything you needed, there was a great choice for breakfast, both continental and cooked served in a lovely old dining room.
I do not want to find fault with this B&B, but just give feedback. To get into the property you have to enter a code on the side door which takes you through an alleyway and leads you to the back of the house where you enter another code to get in . As it was dark when we arrived we needed a torch to be able to see the keypad. Maybe a light above the keypad would be helpful.

Beautiful building with a feeling of being in someone’s private home. Lovely sitting rooms and huge bedroom. Delicious breakfast. Great location
Soonish mattress could be changed. At the moment it has a foam pad over the old mattress. Shower mixer also not working very well

A wonderful building, full of arcitechtural interest, in an excellent location with comfortable and clean accommodation. The building is unmanned, so until breakfast all contact is via text/email but responses were swift and they accommodated our requests. Large sitting/drawing rooms for residents' use. A (very nearly), perfect place to stay. Free parking. Only two drawbacks: wafer thin pillows, (no extras in room), which made sleep difficult and seagull poop covering the car next morning! The gentleman making breakfast was kind in providing soapy water & sponge to tackle poop. Overall a great find - perhaps take your own pillow? It would of course be more personal to have someone there to greet, but one can't have it all! A little info in Welcome Folder on the history of the building would have been a bonus. There seem to be some modern appartments on site too. Thank you for our stay - will definitely recommend.
Wafter thin pillows. Pooping seagulls!

Large room with annex bedroom too. Lots of light and a nice view across to the Pallant gallery. Loved all the memorabilia around the house. It felt very much like a home that had been loved. Loved the road, amazing architecture. So central it was easy to walk around. The breakfast was outstanding. They couldn't do enough for us. Left feeling very full and happy with my trip. Would stay here again.
Parking at the back of the property was really helpful, although I couldn't find it the night we arrived. It was late. I would recommend anyone staying check here out how to get there in daylight.

Lovely property and very comfortable. Excellent location in the centre of Chichester and good quality breakfast. Very good instructions to find the parking but very tight access if you have a big car. Friendly staff. Would definitely use again.
Even though we were the only ones staying we were on the second floor & 2nd flight of steps quite steep. We had to give our choices for breakfast the night before and yet cereals were forgotten. ( as the cooked element had arrived there was no point in mentioning it). What we did have was very good

Beautiful and very interesting . I felt like It must be 1920 or even earlier . Beautiful dining room set for ten or so but it was only me. Lovely garden in the back. The man cooking breakfast was very welcoming, and he prepared just the meal I suggested. The house is in walking distance to most of the town which was great. Room very clean and bed comfy. No noise
Very difficult for me to find the entrance in back of the house.

Quirky old building with lots of history. The room was clean and tidy. Great bnb for the price it was quiet at night but close to everything in the city centre. The breakfast was good and service was very polite. We stayed for work and had a Large van and the lady running the bandb let us have her parking space to make it easier would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Chichester. Great value for money
