We stayed at Crouchers Hotel for a long weekend. Our room was stylish, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of sockets and good quality tea and coffee provisions. The breakfasts were out of this world. Superior breakfast menu which would be hard to find in London. The dinners in the hotel were just as impressive. There is also a fantastic pasta and pizza restaurant on the hotel grounds which we also enjoyed. The grounds are pretty but will be more attractive in the spring and summer. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful

The bathroom was very clean but the grouting around the bath needs replacing

Everything exceeded my expectations! The room was exactly like the pictures and meticulously clean. The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried! I initially called the hotel to check availability, and the staff were very helpful and honest, they informed me that the hotel was hosting a wedding and so there was a chance that music would be playing until midnight. In fact it was a very calm event and I barely heard the noise. Highly recommend! Thank you to Katherine and Shennon for their tips on local attractions and best walk routes!

This is a very friendly well run hotel with excellent customer service. The location is great for Chichester, the south coast, and Goodwood events. There is ample parking and EV charging. Food and drink are first class and service generally is brilliant.

The rooms and ensuites particularly are a bit tired. I could not find a comfortable temperature in the room - why do hotels assume that you want to sleep in an inferno? Noise transmission between rooms is shocking - you can hear your neighbours' conversation and their toilet habits.

The room was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully decorated and equipped (eg. lots of well placed electrical sockets, plenty of space for luggage and really good blinds and curtains for the window and skylight). And there was an excellent shower! The food was good with lots of varied choices for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the whole atmosphere very relaxed

I think the dinner menu was a bit limited and quite meat heavy. I would have liked more vegetarian options.

Excellent food. You should make more of the fact that vegetables grown in your garden area. Gardener was very friendly showing us round. We were able to entertain some friends as guests for both a dinner and breakfast. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and obliging.

Bus stop outside hotel would be a bonus. A pity some of the fields further along near the Italian restaurant had a lot of litter.

Very nice setting with a cozy intimate layout and well presented rooms. Breakfast was very good. Didn’t eat in restaurant so cannot comment.

Administration of booking was mixed-up as several in wedding party had same surname. of day of check-out nobody on reception. Panned out my mothers room had not been paid for which my son subsequently paid. My son also had loads of drinks for other rooms charged to his room on the Saturday….you should get signatures when charging things to rooms I think. I sensed that on occasion you were a little short-staffed … perhaps that was the issue.

We previously stayed at this hotel in January 2022 and were happy to return. The hotel is in a rural location within its own grounds. The common parts of the hotel are very pleasantly presented. We were happy with our room, however there were some shortcomings in our opinion. The breakfast provided was excellent and well presented.

Most of the main courses on the dinner menu were not available apart from roast chicken and roast turkey. We ordered roast chicken however only one portion was available. We were then offered the bar menu and ordered main courses from this. We then ordered poached pears as a dessert from the dinner menu, however this were also not available. Our room was entirely satisfactory apart from decorative the bedside lights, which were useless for reading in bed together with the lack of a table for the use of a laptop.

Position of hotel. Quiet location.

The room's patio outside pavement was sunken and very uneven - easy to trip over. The patio table and chairs had been placed over the even slabs which meant our feet were on holes caused by the sunken slabs when sitting there. We didn't sit there as much as we would have liked. All the other room's patios nearby were straight and flat.

Service was great, staff were smiling, very good and helpful. Room was spacious and clean; it overlooked a busy road, but noise was hardly intrusive. Bathroom was excellent. Food at dinner was excellent, great menu & choice of wines. Breakfast was equally excellent - restaurant is very highly recommended. Electric charging was available for cars, and the grounds of the hotel were very well maintained. Overall, an excellent hotel that we look forward to re-visiting in future.

The hotel could economize by turning the heating off at night in the bedrooms. Our room was stuffy, solely because the heating was on throughout the night; throwing open the windows helped considerably, but the hotel is not being frugal at a time when we are all paying huge energy bills for heating. Appreciate a cool bedroom at night might be a personal choice.

Beautiful location and the decor was lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful snd accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious even the coffee was brilliant. We had dinner at both restaurants and the food was delicious. I did find it all a little pricey.

Needed comfy chairs for the patio off the garden rooms. I am a keen birder, and sat watching for them a long. Would have been nice to have a proper relax.
