Lovely property with plenty of character, extremely comfortable and great location.

Chilli in with our avocado at breakfast. Am sure it wasn’t listed on the menu. Disappointing.

Its clear dogs aren't just allowed here, they are extremely welcome! It was a delight to bring our dog to stay with us and we felt all the staff were very welcoming and accommodating - then even offered to shuttle us to and from dinner at The Kennels. The Farmer, Butcher Chef did an amazing Sunday roast. We loved the walks around the area along the country walkways through the fields to reach the Aerodrome and Tinwood Estate vineyard - highly recommend going for a tasting.

Unfortunately, whilst there are lots of EV chargers, only two can be used by non-BP members and they were consistently being used by non-EV cars as a parking spot. I understand this is difficult for the staff to enforce but as a result we were never able to charge our car.

Lovely hotel in lovely grounds. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Nice spa facilities and treatments. Good range of places to eat and drink on site/within the grounds. Excellent service.

Ordered room service food on first night but sandwiches were not as advertised on menu- missing various ingredients etc. To credit of hotel, they took them off the bill and were very apologetic. One room’s heating wasn’t working; they had put a portable blow heater in the room but it was not mentioned when we checked in/room was not reallocated. It was fine but I’d have expected them to just mention it. Phone wasn’t working in one of the two rooms we had so couldn’t ring down to reception etc. That being said, all of these were small things that didn’t detract from a lovely stay.

Dog friendly in all parts of hotel. Nice facilities. Clean. Lovely grounds for leisurely walks. Picturesque. Staff helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Take care if having a shower. Don't just read the instructions. STUDY them carefully, as it is very complex if not done. Rooms a bit too warm overnight and hallway lights beamed quite brightly under the door, which were on all night. I wouldn't recommend eating at their Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant. Very disappointing at the price point (+£120 for two, inc. 12% service charge, excluding any alcoholic drinks!). If you pay that much you expect a 'wow' factore. Staff weren't very attentive. We ate in a pub the night after (The Partridge Inn). Half the price but twice as good! The Bar & Grill is otherwise OK, but with a very limited menu.

I stayed with my best friend in a twin room. The room size was excellent! Lots of space and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed using the spa very much and the steam room was ace. Staff throughout were friendly and lovely 😀. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had; the poached pears were superb!! Lots of choice and freshly made items. There is a walking route around the grounds and as a hotel guest you can also have a drink in the Kennels on the main site too. The highlight was a short drive to the Aerodrome cafe at Goodwood too and exploring the Goodwood site there as well. We took a short drive into Chichester too which is very close and opted to eat out there instead of the onsite restaurant which was easy; there’s a great Camra pub I’d recommend!

The king size room was very spacious with comfy beds. The breakfast was exceptional. All of the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The leisure facilities were lovely and extremely clean.

We felt that our evening meal was a little hit and miss. Some of the group's food was great and others was only average or came out luke warm. The children's menu was very limited and when it came out the food was very salty. Both my children even left their chips as they appeared to be coated in salt. I've never seen an 8 year old pass on chips before! The service was great but the quality of meal didn't reflet the price of it.

The Goodwood is beautiful, very homely and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the spa facilities beautiful. Dinner in the restaurant is pricey but very tasty and great service. The room was clean and smart. Beds were comfy and lots of space to get ready. Fridge in the room is always a welcome addition and room service was great. A luxury hotel well worth the price and a great option if you have a wedding in the local area and have to travel from a distance.

The WiFi is sketchy, made it difficult to connect and the TV isn’t connected so we couldn’t watch a film which isn’t terrible but would be a nice addition. My shower was a little cold and we had difficult regulating the temp, which is similar to the room. No aircon and very warm but there was a lovely fan but very small issues for what overall was a fantastic stay.

We booked last minute and the hotel very kindly set us up in an accessible room with an incredibly comfortable sofa bed to accommodate our 4 year old. On arrival, a beautifully presented welcome pack with kids games, guided walks and treats was left in the room. The food at dinner - both room service and in the restaurant - is delicious. Breakfast was our favourite meal of the day, all freshly made, local produce, and a wide variety of options. The restaurant is decorated with a quirky range of fascinating artefacts from the estate over the years as well. We took one of the suggested walks and the grounds of the estate are stunning (but the walks could be better signposted, you might get a little lost!). Overall, we loved our stay and felt the images don't convey how wonderful the hotel and grounds are. We were well taken care of and we look forward to staying again to make better use of the gym and spa area. Thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay it was my partners birthday and they made it extra special, the staff are absolutely lovely. We had a meal in the evening in the farmer butcher chef the food was exceptional at the staff were having a difficult time with two ladies that sat across from us the staff were nothing but gracious and accommodating to very difficult customers in my opinion so up most credit to all the staff that evening. So to summarise our stay was wonderful and hope to come back next year for the 3rd time celebrating my partner's birthday.

The Hotel is fabulous. There were lots of staff buzzing about, service was excellent and so was the food. Our room was spacious, clean, king size bed wonderful. Lovely room although we were on ground floor (room 104) and people could walk right past our window- yes there was a blind. Breakfast, really lovely - English breakfast, not too much food so didnt overface us, yoghurt fruits nuts and pastries all lovely. Loved the rustic location too. We had dinner out as had booked before booking the hotel.

I booked your lovely hotel for my wife's birthday as I was impressed with the facilities of the spa - that was one of the main things I booked you for. Sadly I was very disappointed with the amount of children in there. I realise you had already stated the children's hours when I booked however, my idea of a spa with my wife did not include screaming children in a very serene location. We stay in spa hotels alot and although your facilities were of a very high standard, we would not return to you due to the screaming children in an otherwise very calming space.
