Furnishings are excellent quality, lots of thoughtful touches e.g. blanket for sitting outside, washing up liquid etc Owners are great communicators. Changed some breakfast items for our dietary needs no problem. Good info inside property. Lovely bath & shower & plenty of hot water. Beautiful countryside / surroundings.

Nothing major at all, thoroughly recommend. Take your time getting into the drive as it’s quite tight. Only 1 parking per cottage . Use what-3-words to get exact location, Apple maps took us couple of miles up the road, but thanks to great directions within welcome email we found it .

For a touch of extra luxury it would have been even better to have access to a Nespresso type coffee machine (rather than coffee bags) as well a slightly higher end biscuits/ muffins, and orange juice (eg Tropicana / own brand fresh orange) Also higher end toiletries would have made it feel more special but we appreciated having some toiletries to use

Thank you, Maggie, for an unforgettable stay in Old Chapel Forge. This was our 2nd stay, and we just love the accommodation and surrounding areas. We had 2 days of beautiful weather, and after exploring Chichester and visiting the cathedral, we relaxed in the lovely garden and spent our 2nd day on West Witterings' white sandy beach. The old Chapel is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need. Lovely breakfast hamper and fresh fruit was greatly appreciated. We recommend this to everyone. Thanks again Maggie x

Nothing to dislike. The accommodation caters for everything and all information regarding the area and local attractions are well documented.

We were blown away by the unique features of this accommodation: we loved the separate entry way to the room, the room itself was very airy, the thoughtfulness of the host about what they supplied for the breakfasts was amazing. They have put a lot of thought into everything. Very clean, private, with a separate outside sitting area too. The location was fabulous too,very close to Bognor but out of the town enough for no noise.

I can't think of anything, the road traffic was a bit loud-ish at times but this is the UK... there are very few places you can go and experience no traffic

This was an exceptional place to stay. The room was well equipped (even had coasters for drinks, a missing element in many properties we stay in!). The room was very comfortable and clean. Had some extra supplies in the bathroom if needed. Communication with Maggie was great, left us to do our own thing but texted us to check everything OK and if we needed a top up on breakfast supplies. Maggie even posted a couple of items to us we had inadvertently left behind when we left. Overall an amazing stay and will use again if we are ever in the area.

Text message giving access details and point of contact if required during stay, plentiful continental breakfast stock available and own small fridge in property. Parking spot adjacent to entrance making easy transfer of bags etc. Plenty of room in the accommodation with seating area well away from the bed making it seem as though you were in two rooms rather than just a bedroom. Large bathroom area. Excellent reworking of an old property that could have been lost to development.

Cozy, comfortable and private. We stayed in the Garden view room and were instantley taken in by its charm and the beautiful view. The facilities were just right; clean, tidy and appropriate for the size of the accommodation. Maggie, the host, was all too happy to accommodate my allergies, swapping feather pillows for synthetic and changing the breakfast options for gluten free alternatives. She really couldnt have done anymore for us. We will certainly stay here again if we are in the area.

I have only two suggestions for the host. Sweeteners as well as the sugar pot and a microwave would have been very useful. Aside from that everything else was spot on.

Its a converted small chapel with a very comfortable interior and completely satisfied our needs. The parking was good and the wifi excellent. It was a contactless reception which was effortless and the entire venue was extremely clean and welcoming. Fortunately the weather was good and my wife made use of the lovely view from the garden. The location was excellent for our purposes of attending a birthday reception just 5 mins away. Maggie the host made her self know and offered addition support if required, everything including the diy continental type breakfast we found was more than adequate. It’s location is a 8mins from a pebbled beach with good public transport to Chichester and surrounding area. Would fully recommend this location.

Well furnished room which forms part of an old chapel, comfy bed. Breakfast was taken in our room, or garden, supplied by the owner, which we served ourselves. Location is great for exploring the local area. However, the property is situated along a country lane so having your own transport is a must. Maggie the owner was very helpful, making sure that we had everything we needed via text message and personal visit, she lives next door to our accommodation.

Washing the cups, dishes etc in the bathroom sink was awkward. We broke a glass in the process. Attempting to exit the property by car was difficult at times. It can be a busy road, and visually not the easiest to see traffic from both sides, although there is a small mirror to assist. Property was hot even with a good electric fan provided, but we did stay during a summer heatwave of 35 degrees, so everybody would be hot without air con.

Loved the Old Chapel forge, spotlessly clean, comfortable and warm. Breakfast basket was good and the bed was big and very comfy, we both slept really well. Although it's next to a road we couldn't hear traffic at all, lovely and quiet with a great view across fields. Maggie was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

A vanity mirror would be good for make up, possibly on the window cill. Just a small thing which didn't affect our stay.
