Really beautiful stay. We had the Garden Suite for 3 nights, very comfortable, everything we needed. Sarah the host was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Great knowledge of the local area and happy to share tips and ideas for days out. The breakfast was outstanding! Great location, especially if you're a walker. We walked to the beautiful beach (about half hour?). Next day to Ichenor, got the boat across to Bosham (about 2 mins!), walked to the craft bit, then got to bus to Chichester, which took about 20 mins. Bus straight back to the B & B, so good round trip. Buses are £2 per trip, bus stop just round the corner, very convenient (numbers 52 & 53).

The only negative was that we didn't stay longer!

The host Sarah couldn't do any more for us Very welcoming and went out her way to make sure we where both ok, where to go and eat and everything was all in a welcome book too Fresh filtered water, fresh milk, asked if we needed anything at all Breakfast was really lovely and if you asked for something she would make sure she got you this for breakfast ..eg a juice you liked etc All the reviews where correct on this wee place and would recommend to family and friends to stay here instead of a hotel in this area

That we didn't have one more day :) Loved the place and nothing to not like

We stayed at willow house for my birthday and firstly loved how welcoming & lovely Sarah was! The garden suite had everything we needed for a low key night away with a big comfortable bed, hot powerful shower & special extras like robes, towels, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner plus a stocked up tea/coffee station. Sarah had left fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge for us which was a really nice touch. The breakfast in the breakfast room was amazing- so many options to choose from and perfectly cooked. It was in a great location being so close to east & west wittering too!

The location for me was perfect, away from the bustle with an excellent frequent bus service to the village & beach as well as Chichester. Great local gastro pub that is walkable. I loved the peace, the gardens & the beautiful Garden Suite Chalet. Sarah was the perfect hostess, breakfast in the conservatory was great & nothing was too much trouble. A perfect romantic escape, or solo hideaway. I absolutely loved it & would book again 🥰

it was very expensive to travel by taxi & I would of liked a hand rail inside the shower. Gravel driveway was not suitable if you have pram / wheelchair or mobility difficulties.

We were welcomed delightfully on arrival and let into a large, clean, light room with a large double-bed. Everything looked bright, clean and welcoming. All the facilities were as if they were brand new. The decoration emphasised the bright, coastal feel. Breakfast in the main house was from a choice of modern, upgrade, stylish options all promptly prepared and enjoyed by the two of us. Outside was the beautiful garden belonging to the main house. What a lovely stay.

The sign for the property was easy to read by day but missed it a couple of times by night.

A really lovely place to stay! The accommodation was beautiful, in a lovely location with lots of little touches that made for a great stay. Very comfortable bed with quality bedding, a lovely bathroom with big fluffy towels, a sitting room with fridge, kettle and a very well appointed tea/coffee tray. Particularly appreciated fresh milk and a bottle of water :) There is also a very private and beautiful outdoor seating area. Breakfast, cooked by the host Sarah, was outstanding.

Nothing not to like, would definitely stay and again and recommend!

Our host greeted us warmly and showed us to our room with en suite. Beautifully soft and generous bedlinen and lovely *orange bath towels etc. *Good colour to keep clean as white not so good for constant laundering. Our double bed was super comfortable with nice firm mattress. Comfortable easy chairs for relaxing in with TV in room. usual kettle with plenty of various tea bags, sugar etc and our host gave us fresh milk every day. The very tiny fridge below the table was very awkward to open and, with no icebox, we had to request ice every evening for our 'sundowners' which she very happily provided us with. Perhaps a small downside was the walk-in shower showed signs of mould forming between the tiles and more so on the upright pole supporting the glass door. However, the washbasin had lovely wide shelving to store our toiletries, something that we seldom have the benefit of in other places. We walked a few steps to our host's private rear gardens to reach her lovely dining room for breakfast was excellent and the fabulous, fresh variety of berries and yogurt was delicious. Full cooked breakfast or we could chose exactly what we wanted and how it was cooked. Good security as rooms are approached by automatic gates and grounds have an abundance of trees, shrubs and beautiful bird song. Although our spec mentioned a gazebo and patio, neither of these were available, although there was a little courtyard at the side of our room with lots of outdoor furniture but we didn't find that very comfortable so only sat there once. Our host was most helpful in suggesting places to visit. As an aside our host had painted a display unit in the exact colour I've been looking for to paint our own front door, so once that's been done, we will always remember our lovely sojourn at West Wittering!

No gazebo or patio. Very small fridge sited on a shelf below a table and very awkward to open with no icebox either. Mould on the walk-in shower needs addressing. The midges were a nightmare and I was frequently attacked by them during the evening and overnight.

The location is great! Close to the East & West Wittering beach, tucked away in a quiet area. The property was probably the best B&B I’ve stayed in. Bedroom & bathroom both very spacious and equipped in everything with a beautiful interior. You also get your own little outdoor space that’s surrounded by trees, roses and other flowers. Very cosy feeling. Breakfast was very good as well. Sarah has been very welcoming, accommodating and full of good tips. Wish we had stayed longer!

The lodge was lovely set out the back of the main house, it had a secluded little garden with outdoor seating. The bathroom was a great size with a lovely shower, top marks for supplying big bath sheets plus a towel for hair, this is very rare to find. The seating area was great with tv and tea and coffee making facilities, fresh milk and filtered water in the fridge, I would have liked some hot chocolate as I don’t drink tea or coffee but certainly not an issue. The bed was very comfortable and good pillows. The decor was lovely. We couldn’t sample the breakfast as we needed to leave early each morning to get to goodwood. The location was very good. Would definitely go back.

Nothing to dislike

Firstly, Sarah our host was just wonderful and made us feel very welcomed and looked after throughout our stay. The location was most ideal for our trip. The suite was clean and well furnished. The little things that made a difference included lovely toiletries, soft towels of varying sizes and milk/water in the fridge on arrival. The breakfast options exceeded our expectations and were absolutely delicious! The guest guide provided a lot of useful local information but Sarah was more than happy to give recommendations too. The addition of the fan was particularly useful during the night when it was warm.

Nothing to impact negatively on the stay but I would say our bed frame was slightly squeaky when you turned over in it during the night.
