Finding a twin room in Chichester is challenging so we chose Number 19 mainly for the reason that twin beds could be provided albeit free parking was also a bonus. Number 19 exceeded all of our expectations. The house/room is gorgeous and Julia is the most friendly and generous host. Everything is top quality from breakfast ingredients to toiletries to linen. The location is perfect for a couple of days in Chichester, central but peaceful. Cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely stay again next time we are in Chichester. Thanks so much, Julia.

What a beautiful B&B! My room was exquisite. The bed was so very comfortable. Every detail was perfect. The room and bathroom were immaculate. I couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming, kind and friendly host to make my stay so perfect. The breakfasts were amazingly good, so fresh and tasty. The location is on a lovely, quiet street and the walk to the center of this fun town was quite short. I would absolutely be delighted to stay here again and I very highly recommend Number 19 B&B to anyone who wants a beautiful room and a peaceful night’s sleep in a most welcoming home.

We loved everything about this location, the best we have stayed in by a long way, here or abroad. Julia, the host, was friendly and welcoming, and her breakfasts were amazing. The house was tastefully decorated and the room was spacious with very comfortable beds and ample storage space. In the en suite bathroom every detail was carefully planned, including, our criterion! -a hook on the door and shelves for toilet bags. Parking was easily accessible. Altogether a very pleasant stay- strongly recommended.

The property is kept to a very high standard, with a very comfortable bed and top quality fixtures and fittings. Excellent breakfast, with orange juice, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, freshly cooked full English, toast, marmalade, jams and coffee. Location is very convenient indeed both for the theatre and the centre of Chichester. There is off street parking and Julia very kindly offered for us to leave the car on the day of our departure so that we could explore the city. We were offered a drink on arrival and Julia was very friendly.

We stayed at Number 19 for a wedding in the area and would highly recommend if looking for a home from home in Chichester! Very well located (a short stroll into city centre), Julia has created a wonderful space that feels luxurious, cosy and calm. Breakfast was fantastic; quality, fresh ingredients including seasonal fruits and yogurts followed by cooked eggs/bacon etc, we never left the table hungry! Communication leading up to and during the stay was great. We will need to find an excuse to return. Thank you Julia for making this such a memorable weekend!

Number 19 is situated on a quiet residential street five minutes from Chichester's City centre. Off street parking is at the back of the house. The friendly and kind owner, Julia provides a beautifully decorated, calm oasis to stay in with no detail too small caterers for. She even offered to drive us to the event we were attending in a nearby village. Comfortable beds, lovely bath/shower and a sumptuous breakfast the next morning. Just perfect!

I travel a lot and have stayed in many nice hotels. This was my first time at a B&B and did not know what to expect with staying in someone's home, From the day I booked on Booking.com, the owner Julia contacted me asking if I needed additional information, food preferences, transportation or reservations. We stayed in contact for the 3-4 months leading up to the stay. This really eased my mind. I was extremely pleased with the accommodations, We were greeted at the door by a friendly smile and excellent customer service. The room and adjoining restroom /water closet were very clean. The patio area with seats, table and garden full of flowers was beautiful. Windows were open the entire time and the area is very quiet at night. The location was walking distance to train / bus stations, restaurants, pubs and downtown Chichester. We traveled during the train strike so transportation and did not have a back to Heathrow on Saturday morning. Julia contacted numerous drivers and car services until she finally found a service (ProDrive Travel - also excellent) to pick up early. I can't stay enough about how Julia's assistance made this a wonderful trip to Chichester and Goodwood. I will definitely stay at NUMBER 19 on my next trip.

Location was ideal in regarding to getting into the town center. We stayed here for Goodwood and the B&B is a short walk through town to the train station where the shuttle buses pick up. Comfortable room with nice bathroom. Excellent breakfasts and the host was very helpful with suggestions and booking a car service to Heathrow. Would definitely recommend/stay again.

This is in no way meant to be a negative but, for perspective, Americans in particular should know that this is not a B&B of the sort one finds in, say, Vermont, where there are typically common areas to hang around in during any down time. You are renting a room in the hosts home.

Everything about this B&B was fantastic! Great location really close to the middle of Chichester, immaculate property, accommodating and friendly host who went out of her way to make me feel at home, modern and clean room with lovely little extra touches, and an excellent breakfast! Highly recommend

A calm and tasteful oasis in the middle of Chichester. Julia has created a haven with beautiful furnishings and artwork, and she has thought of every comfort. The rooms are clean and luxurious and we were provided with a delicious breakfast too. We had an exceptional stay and didn’t want to leave.
