The staff were all delightful- absolute darlings who made me feel welcome. The food was wonderful- I had a delicious roast which I highly recommend, and the room was pleasant. The location is also excellent and I loved the pub too- very warm and comfortable.
Nothing really, but note that if you’re in the rooms downstairs, you’ll hear guests slamming the door. I am not complaining about this- it’s just one of those things- but maybe a sign on the door for guests to be mindful of those sleeping would suffice?

Breakfast was very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and the room was cosy and warm. The pub / hotel is located in a fairly central spot and you could easily walk to the shops/pubs and cathedral.
If I was being really picky, I would say that the shower was a little small. I am of average size and found it tricky. That said, it was en-suite and I would prefer to have my own shower and toilet as opposed to a shared one.

Everyone was really friendly and helpful, the staff couldn't do enough for me, upgraded the room at no extra cost. It was lovely to sit in the bar in the evenings and chat to the locals. The room was cleaned daily and was massive and it wasn't noisy at all despite being in the pub garden, Thoroughly exceeded my expectations and I would stay there again!

It was central and convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. It was quiet which was good being so close one of the main streets, being a pub and staying in a Saturday. The breakfast was amazing. The Dragon breakfast was excellent as well as the avocado and poached eggs.
The only negative was the loose tap in the bathroom

Great friendly staff, easily checked in. Room was perfect for our requirements situated in converted stables. Fantastic cooked breakfast with lots of choices ( full english / poached eggs / smoked salmon etc). We stayed as we visited the Festival Theatre perfect location to just cross road.to venue and easy walk into town centre.
Everything was good.

Delicious breakfast and plenty of choice ! Croissants were warm and buttery; the cooked breakfast was speedily cooked for us individually. It was quiet as the accommodation is apart from the Pub. We parked outside and found the location perfect for walking around central Chichester. Building works were going on but didn't disturb us and it'll mean even better dining in the future. (We were too late to sample dinner).

Location for the theatre and town excellent. Breakfast ok requested cooked and offered to pay extra but declined. The room was better than we anticipated. We would suggest a table lamp in lounge area as the light was far too bright when my partner got up early to read. The garden area is pretty and the accessibility to the room was pleasing.
Checking in there was no flexibility. We arrived at 12.45 and told no we could not check in and no effort was made to see if the room was ready. The pub was not busy. The light in the room lounge area too bright. No teaspoon with the tea and coffee facilities. No wifi access signal was poor

The George and Dragon exceeded my expectations because it was a great deal better than indicated by the advance information from booking.com. Contrary to what was said, an evening meal was available, and it was very good. In addition, I did not have to pay a £100 damage bond. The publicity needs amendment.
Please provide bottled water in the rooms.

We found everything was first rate at a reasonable price - we had booked several months ahead as we were booking a block of rooms for wedding guests. Rooms were well equipped and practical. The pub’s outdoor courtyard was perfect for our many group gatherings - plenty of great spaces to sit and visit and have a pint. For us as guests the outdoor patio part of the pub closed at 10 pm so we were not kept awake late. Breakfast was basic and had everything a body needs: coffee!, healthy cereals and granola, fresh fruit, yoghurts, fresh bread for toasts, as well as a few pastries, etc. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly - assisting where they could snd provided items we had requested due to hot weather. The location is really great as it is away from very busy areas and quickly accessible to parks and the stroll along the Roman wall. There is metered parking available on the streets close by and in a large car park just across the way. Very accessible by foot from the train station if you are able to walk about 20-25 minutes with your bags-and that way you can take in the shops and great restaurants along the way. I would definitely stay again and recommend it highly.
Not really anything I can think of and our direct group enjoyed the stay as well and said to provide a positive review.

An incredible location in a quaint little town. It is right on the street with the shops, restaurants and pub. It is a short walk to the excellent Chichester Festival Theatre. Priority Park, the Wall Walk and the Cathedral are must visits. A decent continental breakfast is included. I had a burger and fries for lunch. The fan in the room was powerful.
Be aware there are stairs to some of the rooms and 2 within my room. Not a problem for me but might be for some. Fabric headboard had stains which I didn't care for. The walk to the train station is about 14 minutes. But on cobblestones it is not easy and in the rain, not pleasant.
