The Foxham Inn is a little gem! Beautifully situated in the countryside, the Foxham is a really good restaurant, known for its fish specialities. With much love and dedication, the team not only looks after the guests during lunch and dinner, but also fulfils all the wishes of the guests staying in the two small rooms above the restaurant. The breakfast, which was freshly prepared for us every day, was really delicious and always gave us a good start to the day. The rooms have everything you need, starting from a comfy bed, a tv, free Wifi, an on suite bathroom and a nice quiet surrounding. And if you fancy a good meal or a cold drink, you just have to walk down the stairs or drive to the sister Pub "The Rising Sun" in Christian Malford (1,5 miles) - brilliant! We felt completely at home at the Foxham Inn and would be very happy to come back again!

It is in the countryside in a very quiet location. Our room was spotlessly clean. All the staff were very helpful and professional. Feels like a very well run establishment. It has a restaurant serving exceptionally good food, locally sourced and freshly prepared. We had bread and olives to start then steak and a mushroom risotto - utterly delicious. The continental breakfast was good with genuine ingredients. The natural yogurt was super creamy and the ham was the proper stuff. If you like good food this place is for you!

We arrived during a heatwave and our room was very hot. There was a fan.

It was our first accommodation on this trip and we found it to be very nice. The Foxham is in a lovely rural location; is very cosy due to only two rooms and has an excellent restaurant with an upscale menu that local guests very much appreciate. The staff was remarkably friendly and very caring about the guests' well-being. We especially enjoyed the conversations with one of the staff members (Mario) later in the evening, whom we would have liked to visit on our return trip, but unfortunately that didn't work out in the end and we felt very sorry about that. For breakfast we could choose from everything and it was made fresh for us. The Foxham not only satisfied our expectation of a "proper" accommodation in England - it exceeded it and we loved it.

Cooked full English breakfast with orange juice and selection of tea and coffee. Was delicious and rounded off our stay nicely! We felt the hotel and restaurant was a hidden gem, booked a table last minute and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the ambiance created!! We then had drinks in the pub following our delicious meal and again had a wonderful experience with great range of drinks, including a cocktail on the house each!! A lovely way to round off the evening! These rooms at the front of the pub had a beautiful fireplace that wasn’t lit due to being in middle of summer but can imagine this would only add to the cosiness of the evening.

The location was excellent, the accommodation was clean and comfortable. We were contacted en route to advise us that the pub was closing before our arrival and what to do. Following our phone call to them a gentleman arrived before we had time to take our cases out of the car!!

The breakfast was good but it would have been helpful if there was a written menu and that marmalade/jam was available on the table. The stairs were a little narrow but by no means difficult for most people.

This was a last-minute booking for work and I was not disappointed. The welcome on arrival was lovely and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I had dinner in the bar downstairs, which was very nice and cosy with a log burner keeping us warm, and a cooked breakfast the next morning. Breakfast starts at 08:30, which might be a little late for anyone needing to be on the road early for work, but which suited me fine. The pub has plenty of parking space on the opposite side of the road and is in a lovely quiet location.

There was not much power to the shower but the beautiful large bath sheets more than made up for that!

The hotel is located in a very calm and relaxing area. The staff is exceptionally professional managed by an Austrian (as I'm Austrian I have to mention this specificum 😁). After a delighting dinner (the menu is well set up from simple to creative kitchen) and after a digestive evening walk we had a peaceful sleep in a super clean, tidy and comfortable room. The house has got only two rooms what makes it very personal and familial. The owner himself served the freshly prepared breakfast, a real British one if you like. We enjoyed our stay very much and we highly recommend this house to everyone. Thanks to the team

The staff were excellent, we arrived very late due to delays but they were brillant with us. Room was lovely and excellent location. The breakfast the next morning lovely as well. Again the staff were so good. One slight point we found was the bed wasnt the most comfortable but we still had a very good night together at the Foxham.

As said above just the bed really, was quite low to the ground which isnt for everyone. That wasnt really the main pount more just the matress wasnt all that great. However, the bed linen etc was lovely.

Room was lovely as were staff. Towels really big and fluffy plus there was a kettle with tea and coffee. Parking was easy and just across the road. Food was lovely but i would have liked more choice on the menu. Wine was good.

I was a disappointed that the breakfast i had paid for couldn't be served until after 8:30 am. There was a "continental" offered instead although in my opinion cereals, a couple of bits of bread with butter and spreads such as jam and marmite, orange juice didn't constitute a continental as there were no cheese or cold meats and also no coffee. We had to make coffee in our room and bring it down. Wifi was also flaky.

Lovely little place with a rich history and an excellent restaurant. Ultra quiet location, enough parking space, friendly and helpful personnel, breakfast to order, clean room with an excellent bed, nice bar and terrace, all 'n all we really felt at home!

WiFi is poor, and with a northern wind you may smell the kitchen in your room. Didn't spoil our stay!
