The room was large airy and had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable. The gym was well equipped, clean and provided cleaning materials to use. The changing rooms for the pool were good although the showers were a bit old and could do with up dating, but saying that they were clean and the water was hot, there were also the use of hair dryers. the steam room and sauna were clean and well maintained the only disappointment was that the jacuzzi was not in use. Even though our room was in the front of the property we could open the window and not be affected by any noise.

when we booked in the receptionist was polite but it would have been nice to have been told where the dinning room was and also what time breakfast was and how the key card worked.

Had a really nice welcome and help from the Manager when I arrived at reception. It's a small comfortable room in very peaceful beautiful surroundings. You may hear music from the Hotel but it's quite a distance away and didn't stop me having a very comfortable nights sleep!

I couldn't open the window, I pet hate of mine. The window appeared to be locked, no doubt because they have air conditioning in the room.

Pretty much everything. I had my van broken into the night before at a different hotel so coming here was night and day to what I experienced the night before The staff were lovely - the food was lovely- the hotel was lovely Just cant find one fault with it.

I wouldnt say didnt like - but i only had one toilet roll in my room that was half gone. But i managed lol. This is nit picking and not a big deal

There were some faults in the room - toilet seat loose reported on arrival, told maintenance would fix. No fix made! I am disabled so the loose seat was an issue for me. Also the devan bed frame was damaged in 122, there was no anti slip in the bath/shower. It would have been helpful if there was an information sheet in the room covering meal times, TV channels etc (common practice in most hotels) A plug socket at the bedside table would have been helpful, I require a medical device at night and was forced to use an extension lead which was not ideal. Decor is in need of a refresh - some sloppy painting and threadbare carpets in public areas!

the facilities are good, but a little run down. The hotel is back on the up but may take some time to get to the excellent standard it should be.

the changing rooms were dirty and showers not working. Steam room has been out of action for some time now and the hot tub was warm at best.

Reception staff friendly. Second floor room very suitable for my needs. Clean facilities and fixtures in room. Comfortable bed for good night sleep. Powerful Shower. Good view over Golf course.

Hotel in process of some renovation. Communal area carpets on stairs and corridor need a 'deep clean'.

Ideally situated, lots of parking space, swimming pool. The staff were amazingly helpful and a nice full English breakfast. Definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Odd parts in need of refurbishing but it looks like the owners are spending a lot of money upgrading the hotel.

breakfast. very poor. at £14 not value for money. cold food left under lamps for far too long. NOT freshly made. even toast was made before hand and left on plate ready for collection. Waiter very kindly tried to warm up food but again not freshly made. he was NOT at fault. We were in a rush to attend family funeral, otherwise we would have complained bitterly. evening meal previous night was delicious. 4 people agreed that breakfast very substandard. shame.

Large clean room with great facilities in an excellent peaceful location (better as a car driver as no shops or venues very near, though there is a regular bus service into Royal Wootton Bassett) Lovely restaurant/bar with good food and catered to my gluten-free needs. Staff were all amazing, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Anna my housekeeper who looked after me so well, a lovely ray of sunshine to my days! Thank you all.

Quite happy generally but if I had to be picky, the reception and public areas are a bit faded/tatty and could do with a revamp, but the areas were all clean. Not a very varied or extensive dish choice on the menu when you have dietary needs and you’re staying for 2 weeks, but the chef (Andy?) was brilliant at adapting dishes to suit me which was fabulous! Did have some issues with the electronic card room key, but they were resolved each time!

I thought the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very clean, comfortable & quiet. The facilities were excellent and working as expected. The breakfast was good.

I wished the steam room was working but understood it was being renovated prior to arrival.
