This was the perfect place to stay. The room was larger than I expected - my own self contained bed-sit with a sofa, fridge, microwave etc. Plenty of coffee, milk, towels, toiletries - even conditioner - plus the added extras of biscuits and sweets. In my room there was a folder full of ideas of nearby places to visit and next to the breakfast room was a whole range of books, maps and leaflets on the area. I was able to chose what I wanted for breakfast from a varied list and it was cooked by the host. The breakfast room overlooked the lovely garden. Very friendly host, she asked daily if there was anything I needed.
Nothing could have been better. The location was ideal - close to so many lovely places to visit, with more ideas on the area coming from my hostess. I left with still more I would like to see.

A perfect weekend getaway bolthole. Lovely house well modernised and accommodating owners very happy to help with requests. Room was comfy and had everything we needed. Breakfasts were excellent. Gardens are very pretty.
I feel a bit embarrassed even mentioning this stuff. Being picky, the WiFi didn't reach the room we were in. But phone signal was good so didn't matter. Bedside lights didn't shed enough light for reading. Would have liked a couple more storage drawers, but honestly none of this detracted from our stay.

There was an excellent choice of food for breakfast, and the cooked breakfast was very well cooked. The room was comfortable, as was the bed.
At least some of the milk capsules in the room seemed to be past their use by date, with the milk slightly lumpy. The en-suite hot water system was unusual, in the it started to run hot very quickly, but after a short while ran cold again, before finally running hot again. I assume that this is an odd characteristic of the hot water system.

Welcoming, ‘homely’ feel and atmosphere. Friendly, approachable and knowledgable host. Excellent breakfast. Well located for local points of interest.
Low pressure in shower facility. Needed to be very careful when leaving property as exit is on to a fast road with limited visibility. Decor was a little ‘tired’.

Maunditts House is a delightful place to spend a few days as a base for exploring the local area. The host/owner, Laura, was friendly and welcoming, and obviously takes her guests' comfort and wellbeing very seriously. Our room was comfortable and attractive, with a nice view over the large rear garden where you can sit and relax if the weather's good. Breakfast was excellent, very tasty. Overall, highly recommended!

The rooms were gorgeous. I had a twin room and my family had doubles. Each were unique in their design and style. Fridges and sinks were useful additions. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I'm gluten and dairy free due to Chronic illness and the owners had bought soya milk/cream so I could have eggs in the morning which tasted amazing! Huge variety of herbal and fruit teas too! I have been unable to travel for 6 years due to my health and Laura went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as possible.
Nothing!

Very cosy rooms with good toiletries and hairdryer. The best part is the rich and excellent breakfast, prepared by the owner Laura, always very kind and willing to give us some useful advice. She also allowed us to do a late check-in and once she prepared the breakfast to go since we had to leave very early. The location is ideal to visit the region. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was delicious. Laura was very welcoming. The kitchenette was a bonus addition to the room.
There was no bedside table on one side of the bed so nowhere to put phone whilst on charge and still be able to access it in the night. Not sure how you would get round this though.

Laura was very welcoming and accommodating; The rooms were large, and had good facilities for making tea & coffee; Breakfast was lovely - especially the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon! The house is conveniently located just under two miles from Malmesbury, and Laura provided information about where to park, restaurants and tourist sites, etc. There was a nice little pool in the garden which I had a dip in on a couple of occasions; We enjoyed watching the chickens run round the garden!
It was all fine for us, but some guests might not want to climb stairs up to the rooms. The property is also located on quite a busy road which didn’t bother us at all, but might not be ideal for some people.

The room was lovely and warm with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Nice big shower with fluffy white towels and good toiletries. Lots of nice little touches, small bag of sweets on bed, little hot water bottles, etc. Good self catering facilities. Very pleasant breakfast room, with lovely crockery and good breakfast which you choose the previous evening.
The road outside was rather noisy but it didn’t spoil our stay.
