A real pub - cosy and welcoming ,not one of those terrible chromium places with laminated floors and meaningless decor. This pub has a heart made possible by Brigette the landlady's warm and friendly demeanour.

Stayed here for 4 nights and honestly could not fault it. The small car park, pub not serving food are all things we were aware of before booking. Likewise reviews stating rooms maybe needed a bit of updating so we were not expecting the Ritz. What I can say is our room was perfectly adequate for our needs and most importantly clean. Fantastic friendly staff, good beer and a great welcome from the Landlady when checking in.

I think the pub is missing out by not serving any kind of food. We were lucky enough to be there on a night where pizza was being served which was absolutely delicious! Something like that or a bowl of chips would go down a treat.

The host Brigitte was lovely, helped us with parking, met us in the car park, showed us a choice of 2 rooms and recommended a cafe for breakfast. The beds were comfy and the tv was a smart t.v. so we could log into our Netflix account. Free wifi, tea and coffee, biscuits, wash things and towels in the room. Warm cosy room with windows that can open. Ideal hotel for children as staff were so accomodating.

The car park was restricted to 4/5 cars so we were lucky to have a space, the double and 2 single beds were on a split level and so watching t. v. was ok, but not ideal. The room didn't come with breakfast. Otherwise a lovely room and no complaints.

The staff and the pub was brilliant! Bridget the landlady was so welcoming and friendly also very helpful. we would definitely come back and stay again. The vibe was good fun and all the customers were friendly. Then to top it all off there was a band there on the Saturday evening.

It does not include breakfast, if it did that would make the stay 100% better. Also the room we stayed in we could hear the people above us, could hear every conversation word for word and that was quite frustrating as we was woken up at 7am one morning and 6am the next morning. Not what we wanted after a late night.

We booked into a triple room and it was very spacious. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The shower had great water pressure and the toiletries provided in the room smelled nice and were a really great addition. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made everything easy for us even though we had to check in just before normal check in time (to get to a wedding). Although we didn't get to use the garden or stay in the pub for long, we did have a drink later in the evening and the atmosphere was fun and jovial.

The car park is quite small, so make sure you leave some time to find alternative parking if you need to. The car park entrance is also quite tight so be careful when manoeuvring into and then out onto the main road. There are no breakfast options at the pub, but the staff did recommend a very nice cafe across the road which did an excellent breakfast.

The staff were amazing! So informative of the area and if we had any questions for places to get food, they made GREAT recommendations. The atmosphere in the bar was so comfortable and it was a beautiful place to stay. Will definetly be looking to return should we venture over to the Cotswolds again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's nothing I can fault about the place! But do be informed, the parking was a little difficult to find at first (tightly wrapped at the rear of the premise on the left hand side between the two mini roundabouts) 🕵️‍♀️

Perfect location for our needs. Extremely friendly staff and locals. Room was warm throughout our stay. Bed was comfy and good selection of tea and coffee, which was refilled as needed. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked an extra night. Can't wait to return.

Parking. Only four spaces and they were very awkward to get into, but there are two free longterm car parks within walking distance. I wish food was served, even if it was just breakfast for guests. A continental breakfast would be better than nothing.

Had to quickly find somewhere to stay one night because of the train strike. I was very happy to find somewhere close to where I had to get to the next day and was very pleased how relatively easy it was to get to and how friendly I was greeted. I slept particularly well and my only disappointment was that there was no food on site at this present time. However it was very easy for me to locate a nearby establishment for this.

The pub was located right in the town so close to the shops, cafe’s and other places to eat and drink. The staff were friendly and we met some great local people who made us feel really welcome. Clean and cosy rooms, very well heated.

For a short time in the late evening the pub garden was quite noisy and the room was located at the back of the courtyard.

The room was amazing, spacious and very clean, big mugs and no skimping on coffee, tea, milk and sugar. My daughter especially loved the window seats where she could read and watch the world go by. Beds were very comfortable.Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

No issues room was very warm but this was expected as 23° degrees outside so can't complain.
