Your staff are second to none, every member of staff we came into contact with were exceptionally helpful and courteous, from Front of House within the hotel providing an exceptional level of customer service and detail on our arrival, to friendly night shift staff offering to light the external fire pits and the conscientious restaurant team. Our meal on Saturday was perfection, everything was delicious, piping hot and beautifully presented, and again, the staff were wonderful. Absolutely couldn't fault our stay and have already recommended the location already to friends. The location is perfect for travelling around some of the must-see locations within the Cotswolds and a great, dog friendly base.

Excellent communication with Maria the manager and reception team prior to arrival - the team was attentive and thoughtful in terms of our lodges' location and accessibility for my husband, who uses a wheelchair. The hotel is also dog friendly - Percy and Radley had a great time! Our lodge was beautiful, spacious, and clean! Both evening meals and breakfasts were delicious! Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so relaxing, including Jeanette in reception, Elle and Hellen in the restaurant (these are the names I can remember!) - your help was greatly appreciated!

Having to leave!

Lovely room, gorgeous view, friendly staff. Attractive restaurant, bar was dog friendly but you felt part of the overall experience and same menu. Dinner was excellent. Dog friendly rooms, very quiet. Lovely walks around for the dog. Well maintained grounds. Delicious breakfast, superior quality buffet. View from fellow travellers was that full English could be improved, too many mushrooms and a bit dry. My scrambled eggs were well made.

Hardly anything. We brought a dog, they could have asked what size so they could provide a bed and bowls appropriate for the size of dog, we have a labrador and were given a tiny bed, but they did have others available.

Beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful. Really comfy beds. All staff were extremely helpful. Great breakfast options.

There were ants on the bed and in the bathroom. We checked with reception staff if this was usual given the surroundings but were told no and handed a can of raid and organised a thorough clean and removal of soft furnishings the following morning. However when checking out and confirming the ants had been around all weekend we were told it was usual and no gesture of goodwill offered. Although the lodges are in a natural environment it is positioned as a luxury retreat and the conflicting responses from staff about ants being usual is the reason for not giving an exceptional review.

We stayed at Feldon Valley for my husband's birthday and we loved it. The hotel part is separate from the clubhouse/restaurant and has its own bar and reception area with sofas and chairs looking out over a lovely view of the golf course. The staff couldn't have been more helpful; we ordered some drinks at the bar and were planning on sitting inside as it was quite a cold day, but they said they could turn the fire pits on outside and give us blankets so we could have our drinks outside which was great. The room was lovely and the full length window actually slid back like a juliette balcony which was a nice surprise! We had dinner and breakfast in the clubhouse restaurant which was delicious and the staff recommended some walks and a tour around the Cotswold Distillery down the road, both of which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning and would recommend!

It was actually very quiet in the lodge we were allocated. A very good stay for a dog owner that wants to be treated like a normal hotel guest. Thought all the staff were excellent and not too rushed…the hotel were very considerate towards Teddy our Sausage dog. There is a £15 charge for the dog on top of the normal rate. The restaurant were good at breakfast and let you take your dog into the separate bar area where they do service to the table. They leave dog bowls and a bed if you have a dog. Would stay here with or without a dog - was very clean.

The walkways are lit at night (wooden path through some trees to the lodges that sit beside the hotel). There are blinds at the top of the big window, however they let the pathway lighting in..a real shame as the blackout curtains are excellent. I would have given this a 10 had it not been for the light in the room at night.

Our recent stay at Feldon Lodges was a delightful escape to the serene beauty of the Cotswolds. Nestled within stunning grounds, the lodges provided a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature's charm. Everyone we interacted with at the Lodges was friendly and courteous making us feel welcomed. The rooms designed with both style and functionality, provided a perfect blend of coziness and comfort, with attention to every tiny detail. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided, and the cozy ambiance made it easy to unwind after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast at the on-site restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of culinary offerings, from the hot breakfast choices to a buffet of numerous breakfast items. Feldon Lodges offered a perfect retreat in the Cotswolds—beautiful grounds, tranquil surroundings, a golf course view, fantastic breakfast, and rooms designed for ultimate comfort. It's an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful escape in this picturesque part of England.

From the moment you arrive you see how beautifully smart the hotel is. You are greeted by the most down to earth, kind and genuinely happy staff. The walk way/ grounds are beautiful. It is genuinely one of the most dog friendly places I have ever stayed. The room is beautiful and clean and spacious. The food was outstanding. Me and my partner said multiple times you can tell the staff are happy working here. There is a really pretty walk around the golf course for your dog. The check in and out process was very easy. I would stay here over and over again.

I didn’t book a longer stay.

Both my Wife and I were supposed to stay for her birthday on the 27th Dec, I was unwell so rang on the day of arrival and the amazing Melissa (Manager) moved the date for us at no extra cost. Not only did she move the dates but they then upgraded us to a suite which was a great surprise on arrival. The food in the restaurant was great, the lodge we stayed in overlooking the golf course was peaceful and really spacious. Was great we were able to have our dog with us also. 100% will be returning.

Honestly everything was amazing.

Love the wood lodges, this was our second stay here. The rooms are spacious and equipped for our dog (they provided a dog bed and 2x dog bowls). Everything was clean and tidied every day. We love the food at The Kitchen and the staff were excellent and extremely friendly/helpful in advising us on what we could do nearby with the dog. This is one of our favourite places to stay.

The lack of air con made it so uncomfortable to sleep at night. You have to keep the door shut because of the bugs that come in but it’s like a sauna in the wood lodge despite it being under trees. There’s no way we could have left our dog in there for any length of time without us. We struggled in the night and were sweating just laying down which made it very uncomfortable to sleep unfortunately.
