We all raved about Field End House. Teresa was lovely and helpful -- breakfast was amazing. She went above and beyond helping us navigate a local open garden/parking -- and finding a great pub for dinner. What a lovely area and home -- we got a glimpse of what it is like to live in the Cotswolds. And those two dogs are the absolute happy best! I'm not a huge dog person, but friendly small dachshunds are a wonder to behold.

Would love to have stayed longer, pictures of this home don't convey how gracious it is. This location isn't in a town with services -- which we liked, but worth noting that there is a pub to walk to and not much more by foot.

What a gem! A lovely house in a quite village, within walking distance of the local pub. Theresa was a relaxed but attentive hostess and she looked after us very well. Her two wirehaired dachshunds, Fig and Brillo, are adorable! The house is tastefully furnished and the breakfasts were substantial with excellent coffee. We appreciated the large, spacious bedroom and en-suite bathroom which allowed us to settle in comfortably for our 4-night stay. We were sad to leave and will definitely return on our next visit to the Cotswolds.

No complaints.

A very warm welcome from our host Teresa when we arrived. We had a very spacious bedroom with a lovely view of Teresa's immaculate garden. Queen sized very comfy bed and a large bathroom with a generous walk-in shower. Sumptuous breakfast cooked to order. The house is at the end of a quiet lane and overlooks the countryside. Generous parking beside the house. One of the very best B&Bs we've ever stayed in.

Having to come home!

Oh wow. This was the best BnB we’ve ever stayed in. Best host, so lovely and attentive. Fabulous views, amazing breakfasts with homemade marmalade and apple juice, perfect location and a superb little pub Masons Arms with amazing food in the village. We went for the Air Tattoo, however the icing on the cake was our wonderful weekend at Field End House. So incredibly peaceful. We loved our evening cuppa with homemade biscuits.

We didn’t find anything we weren’t happy with.

The house was so beautiful, the perfect getaway if you want peace and quiet. Located just a couple of minutes walk to a cosy pub and well situated near several landmarks to enjoy such as Cirencester and Kelmscott manor only a short drive away. Teresa was the best host and she went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel at home. The breakfast was lovely. There are also two cute friendly dogs to greet you! We would definitely come again.

Teresa is an exceptional host; when we arrived she greeted us warmly and offered us both tea and chocolate biscuits. Even though we had reserved a twin room, she also offered to make up the double room if we preferred. The twin and double rooms are very spacious, well maintained, clean, and have beautiful views over the garden. There is a selection of different breakfasts available, including the English, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, kippers, Granola, porridge and fruit. Locally produced jams and honey are available for spreading on toast. The food all tasted wonderful and we were both ready afterwards for exploring. Teresa is very easy to talk to, and advised us to go to a nearby Park&Ride if we were exploring Bath, which turned out to be sage advice. Next to Field End House is a public footpath which takes you through the fields and woods with stunning views at sunset in the Summer. The beds were very soft and comfortable and no unwanted noises ever disturbed us. The bathroom was also very clean with a powerful shower. Finally, Teresa's Dachshund, Fig, is a gem; very friendly, trusting and not at all aggressive. We had a fantastic time staying at Field End House and would love the chance to return. Thank you, Teresa and Fig, for making our stay so memorable.

Can't think of anything.

Teresa is a WONDERFUL host and makes you feel very welcome! As well as Fig the FAB dog :-) All questions we had about sightseeing or dinner were well answered and great tips. The room was VERY large with a big beautiful bathroom and all with views out to the gorgeous garden (which we sadly didn't use due to lack of time and not so great weather). At the end of a small street next to the fields so beautifully quiet as well. You really feel at home in this home.

Nothing!

Teresa is an excellent host - nothing was too much trouble for her. The setting is in a lovely, quiet location in a picturesque hamlet with a great pub. Breakfast each day was delicious & plentiful, cooked perfectly. We visited several villages/towns in the area but as there are many more we'd like to visit in the future we will definitely book the same accommodation again.

Simply the best B&B my daughter Nancy and I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. Amazing all the way. Teresa is the best hostess. She looked after us so very well. A true lady who was helpful and accommodating in every sense of the word. The cottage is superb! The breakfast was a real treat, just perfect. We cannot wait to return to Field End Cottage. Simply stunning!

Simply stunning. No complaints. What a find!

Excellent stay, A lovely warm welcome from Teresa and Fig her little dog. The breakfast was amazing and the location was stunning. We spent three comfortable and enjoyable days in this beautiful house and garden and hope to return before too long. It is set in a lovely Cotswold village with a friendly pub serving good food close by.

We did not dislike anything about our stay. Everything was excellent.
