We had a deluxe room with lake view, beautiful

Didn't like the fact that you could only use pool if you booked spa treatment, it doesn't say that on website and if you just wanted to use the pool it was £24.50, even though if its not busy ,you can use it for free, but I'm sorry, nobody would pay that amount of money for a swim and the reason I booked your hotel was because it had a swimming pool. I only book hotels with pools and on booking.com it said facilities were swimming pool, hot tub, spa and wellness not that the pool was part of the spa.

The room was lovely had patio door to terrace along side lake. Breakfast was excellent. Location was great for Cotswolds. Liked Pantry shop good idea.

Didn't realise to use pool had to buy £95 spa treatments so we didn't use spa and didn't bother with gym as had to book. Often heard bathroom doors slamming. Meals and Drinks very expensive so went out to eat.

Great location, lovely room, great view over the lake. We could watch the sunrise from the bed. Staff were (mostly) friendly and helpful.

The food promised much but didn't really deliver. The cooked breakfast looked stale by the time we got to it (9am), the bacon and sausages looked reheated. The Brasserie was pricey for what you got.

Lake view was amazing. You can hear the cars on the main road but didn't bother us. Cute swans and a few ducks on the lake. Breakfast good. Lots of tables, helpful staff. Ran out of juice the second day we were there but there was other alternatives. My main issue with the hotel was the sense of safety in the room. Doors on the balcony didn't have proper locks, but almost balanced from unlocked/locked. Like it didn't feel like it was locked at all. The door had like a solid chain so technically no one COULD get in, but I don't think it would of taken much if someone wanted to enter. Especially with the foot traffic that surprised us. So many people walking by and just starring into rooms. I took my laptop to catch up on some work while away, but with people walking by every few minutes on the shared balcony, lots of eyes just look into your room. Felt like drawing the curtains but why pay for a lake view if you're not going to see it, right? If you have expensive equipment like laptops/mac books, I would recommend asking for a lake view window nearer the upper part of the building for this reason of safety

You had to pay for swimming pool. Most hotels don't do this. The balcony wasn't to yourself. It wasn't separated off like previous hotels we've stayed in. You were a small distance away from the next guests in the next room if they were on the balcony. Didn't feel like we could talk freely because people would be ease dropping into conversations. This was a very small problem by the way, not enough to let it ruin the stay, but its things like this that are noticeable. Otherwise, a cracking hotel. Restaurant on premises was great too.

Modern clean lovely location

We ate in the Boathouse for a special birthday treat. Very disappointed to have to wait such a long time to be acknowledged on arrival, waited ages to order, long waits between courses, asked for the dessert menu never brought by the waitress in question. It was busy on arrival but quiet soon after. Really let down our experience in what was a lovely hotel and we were impressed by the reception staff. Heard other people in The Boathouse talking about the poor service. The food is very expensive.

Probably the most comprehensive and well cooked breakfast I have had. The room was large and surprisingly cool considering we were in the middle of a heatwave and had almost all amenities you would need. The location was ideal with access to the lakes and a number of eateries. The staff were accommodating and helpful.

We only had a couple of very minor issues, none of which detracted from our stay. Our room was at the end of two extremely long corridors, there was no short cut access back to the car park. We were literally 10m from our car but had to walk approx 250m back through reception. Also needed an information pack in the room and maybe a fridge.

This hotel is in a stunning location in the Cotwolds water park with amazing view's. It's very clean and well appointed with large and comfortable rooms. It has two decent standard restaurants on site and is conveniently located to tour this area of the lakes. Look to book rooms with a view and take the opportunity to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the views. The staff are exceptional, my wife had an accident while we were on holiday and everyone in the hotel went out of their way to help big shout out for Ben, Lucy and Kirsty in particular but everyone was wonderful.

Room didn't have air con but did have large opening door to the balcony and windows that open.

Much needed break away for first time this year and I was so pleased I paid extra for the room doors onto the terrace as it was a very hot weekend, lovely to sit outside privately to have a read, drink and watch the birds on the lake. Maria and her team were kind enough to make sure I had everything so I could get around easily and safely as I have restricted mobility at the moment and eased any worries when I initially booked. Room service was excellent. And loved having a fridge in the room especially as I could keep chilled drinks in the room as such a hot weekend. Room was beautiful and very comfortable and the bathroom was accessible but looked luxurious rather than a disability bathroom.

I'm not a dog person but all dogs were well behaved in the hotel. Couldn't always get a blue badge space but the hotel was busy and the staff were always helpful.
