Ann was a very friendly and helpful host. Breakfast was excellent. There was a very pleasant garden and and a comfortable guest sitting room with TV overlooking the rear garden. Parking was off road at the rear and tight but as there was only two rooms it was adequate for two cars. We had a separate bathroom next room along the landing which had a new looking walk in shower and was quite spacious and spotlessly clean and fresh for our sole use. Ann provided a bathrobe which saved having to pack one. It worked fine as there was only one other room which was a twin with separate facilities.
The double bedroom was quite small although there was plenty of draw and hanging space there was no room for a chair and only one bedside reading lamp. It overlooked the main Cirencester road so if day time traffic noise disturbs you bear this in mind. The small double bed had an ultra soft matrass with little support so if you want a bit more support this isn't for you if your stay is more than a few days.

Everything. Anne couldn't have been more accommodating. Breakfast would have been a feast if we had let her have her way but my sister and i are not huge eaters so she had to curb her enthusiasm to porridge, toast and homemade marmalade, which was sooooo yummy. Her homemade rhubarb and apple compote was also excellent over yoghurt. Anne is a lovely, lovely lady and her property is beautiful both inside and out. The surrounding area is great for walking...down along the water....into the small downtown...and visiting the most gorgeous church on the main road. The steward that was there was knowledgeable about the history of the church and the town and so kind. The Bull pub restaurant was everything you could imagine an English pub to be....ambience ...good service....excellent food...good people. Would highly recommend The Nurseries for more than just an overnight. We stayed 2 nights and I wish we could have dallied for at least another day.
Nothing.

It is a big house with a very big, well managed garden. The guest room is suitable and cozy, with an exclusive bathroom, which is plenty of space. Anne is a hardworking hostess who always keeps the house very clean. She cooked breakfast and supply table service for guests, always with the classical musical FM. Good taste. I left my earrings and necklace in the room, and she wrote me an email immediately. Two houses next to Anne's house, there is the river Koln. You can spot the typical view of England countryside along the river. If you want to find a place to stay In Fairford, Cotswolds, Anne's house is the best choice.
It is not convenient to get somewhere by public transportation.

I was not sure what to expect initially as I booked it based on previous reviews. I like the location and its provision of car parking. Its location was central in that it did not take us long to get to popular places in the Cotswold. Our host, Anne is friendly and from the outset, explained why she would like us to remove our shoes at the bottom of the stairs before we climbed upstairs to be shown to our room. I have no issues with that as I would expect my visitors to our house to do the same, i.e. remove their shoes. The twin bed-room was comfortable for us. However, it could do with a bigger and longer mirror. My friend is short and could hardly see the mirror both in the room or in the shower room. Breakfast was ample with a selection of cereals, cooked breakfast and tea/coffee and toasts. It certainly filled my stomach! What is pleasant about the breakfast room is the warm ambience and quiet background music. Sitting around the table with other guests makes it more friendly and cosy. We got to speak with our Spanish visitors. It is a quiet establishment as there is only another guest room.
I was disappointed to find that there was not a fridge in the room as advertised. Anne did apologise and explain that the fridges were not working and the information on the website had not been updated. I was not keen on the fact that the shower and toilet was along the corridor even though it is solely for our use during our stay. The bedroom could do with a bigger 'trolley' that holds the kettle, teabags, etc. Maybe a shelf would do.

The location was fantastic with a beautiful river walk only few minutes away as well as couple of minutes to the restos and supermarket . Only 15 mins from Bibury which is beautiful but really hard to stay in given the crazy number of tourists . The host is lovely , genuine and very helpful . You can also park your car with peace of mind on the property. Great value in the area.
Nothing comes to mind.

A classic Bed & Breakfast in the Cotswolds. Anne was very kind and we enjoyed chatting to her. A great fry-up in the morning! Two bedrooms available: we had the 2 x single bed room which was cosy and comfortable. The private bathroom is not en-suite but this was no problem - especially as the other room wasn’t occupied. The local pub, The Bull, is only a couple of minutes walk away which served delicious food in a cosy Cotswold setting.

Anne is very welcoming, and friendly, her home is your home! The room and beds were very comfortable. Our private bathroom was down the hall to our room and for our sole use. Robes were provided too. Breakfast was wonderful and we really enjoyed chatting and getting to know Anne.
That we could only stay for a couple of nights!

Great location - beautiful but still easy to get to. Really comfortable. Very friendly host. Delicious farmhouse breakfast.
We were by the main road and there were some noisy vehicles in the night, it was so comfortable this didn’t really affect my sleep but could for some I guess.

As per many of these reviews, I can confirm that Anne was a great host and the whole house felt so homey and welcoming. I travelled solo for a friend's wedding nearby, and Anne was kind enough to make me breakfast the morning after the wedding. The instructions for everything were clear, I felt very comfortable, and I would recommend to anyone!
