Great sized outside room with a sofa and a big en-suite. There's a brewery on site and the the beer I tried was nice. There's a big garden too and the young staff were friendly and helpful. Friendly locals in Cricklade, we had a few chats with people on the high street.

(We should have looked more closely when booking, so our bad) There is no breakfast on site so that made the room overall a little more expensive for us BUT there is an excellent family run cafe just up the road that opens early (The Barista) and does a huge variety of options and fed us nicely.

Loved this pub, perfect for a stay after walking the Thames path from Kemble. Great staff, food was amazing and good drinks selection. Our room was lovely and very comfortable.

Only issue we had was that it could have been a little cleaner (bedside lamps were very dusty, floor was pretty grubby and also looked like someone had used the toilet in our room and not flushed). The other issue was that the room is right next to the beer garden and as windows are very old you can hear absolutely everything so didn't get much sleep given the amount of noise going on that went on way beyond closing time. Would still recommend overall though

The pub was buzzing and every credit to the owners and staff - trying to make the pub as successful as possible. Great garden, fabulous indoor area and as there was 12 of us for dinner - provided a great space for us. The service was excellent and the staff were well trained and very efficient. The food was delicious and well presented- we all ate together and everyone enjoyed the evening. There was live music as well. Breakfast was amazing.Looking forward to going back.

The shower curtain was tired but everything was very clean. Just remember to ask for hair dryer.

Lovely pub and had a lovely breakfast. We were in the annexe . Large room with a big bed and sofa. Plenty of tea and coffee. Staff was very welcoming. Large beer garden. There was a little bit of noise from the pub but not enough to be an issue. Large bathroom. Didn’t get chance to eat in the pub but looked lovely. Plenty of parking around the pub but also there was a car park a 2 min walk away. Nice little village. Would definitely use again.

The only thing was the room had quite a lot of cobwebs and felt a little damp. Which I understand due to the type of old building. Just a small thing really but It didn’t spoil the visit.

Great location , lovely pub but no food served after 3 as was a Sunday , even though was a busy bank holiday weekend. Had to get a takeaway from up the road .

There was a hum all night That kept me awake , I messaged the out of hours number and it was turned off about 5am , maybe we were near beer cellar? Or someone left a fan running , apart from that was a beautiful clean lovely room .

Excellent location, booked because it was on the edge of the Cotswolds but within easy reach by car of everything we wanted to visit. Room and bathroom were bigger than expected allowing our dog to sleep in his crate easily. We had breakfast one day (extra) and it was excellent, a massive full English utilising local produce, and are dinner in their restaurant which we will review separately as it stood alone as excellent quality and value for money

Only slight comment would be to fully check for cobwebs but it was perfectly clean for me

This was the first stop on our Thames Path Walk, and we arrived, exhausted, on a very busy Thursday evening before Easter. It was a great place to stay for walkers: comfortable and quiet room, hot bath, and an excellent restaurant. They were clearly very busy but managed to resolve an issue with room promptly.

Breakfast menu wasn't clear and looked expensive so we went elsewhere.

Excellent accommodation and food. Staff welcoming and friendly.

The toiletries located in the bath excellent if you are using the shower but not if you have a bath, unable to reach them. The lights over the bed operated by a cord inoperable as the cord was missing.

We’d walked from the head of the Thames with two little dos on a warmish day. The staff were enormously welcoming. Room was great as was the food for dinner. We’re directed to breakfast in Barista maybe 150m and that was great too.

Was right on the Thames Path where we were walking, so a brilliant location. Warm welcome and fresh milk given for drinks. Great food. Comfy beds. The bath was a welcome bonus after the miles we'd done.

The pub was popular (always a good sign) so the garden outside our window was busy and dogs can stay so we did get barking from the room next door. It's just worth packing ear plugs!
