As I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Pat, who showed me around where I would be staying. She and her partner live in the downstairs away from the guest rooms, so lots of privacy but still reassurance that help was at hand. Delicious, freshly cooked full English breakfast, as well as drinks and cereal options all provided on the morning before I checked out. Great room with a sink, desk, mini fridge, tea and coffee with biscuits and sugar, plug sockets, wardrobe, TV, a window (with blinds) onto the back garden and bathroom across the landing. And, as was the case with my stay, great for travelling for weddings as there is no curfew and an individual room and house key fob provided so you can quietly slip in later in the evening. Based in a residential area so nice and quiet, and great value for money. Would definitely stay here again if I ever need somewhere to stay in the area!

Aside from having to find the house, which is set into a residential estate on the outskirts of Congleton (easily done with satnav or Google maps), really no issues!

Howard & Pat are fabulous. Everything you may need was provided free in the room-tea/coffee/milk/sugar/water/biscuits. There is a small fridge, microwave, plates, cups cutlery and extra plug sockets, usb sockets, tv. Breakfast has exceptional choices, cereals, yogurts, fruit, every condiment imaginable, fresh orange juice, selection of trea's, milk, breads, and full english for all, with vegetarian or vegan options. They are lovely people and provided lots of information about the surrounding area. If I need to return to Gawsworth, I will definitely book in again.

From the first welcome arrival to the cheerful departure, the experience was very pleasant. They were helpful in finding me a place for my evening meal which did not disappoint. The supplies in the room were way more than I expected. Tea and coffee, and biscuits, full range of personal hygiene products in the shower. And plenty of cupboards to hang your clothes on. High-speed fibre wifi and nice range of freeview TV. The breakfast was at your requested time and full fill hot English breakfast as well as the accompanying fruit, cereals, and juice. Cooked to order as you sit down. WOULD I STAY AGAIN? YOU BET, FIRST CHOICE.

Well, it's a personal thing, but I prefer a firm matress and this was quite soft and springy. But that's me. Can't please everyone.

An extremely comfortable and homely bed and breakfast. The place was immaculately clean, with the room I had being large and comfortable. It felt like a home rather than a B&B, which in my opinion is the highest praise i can give. The room was well stocked with tea/coffee and nibbles, and the ensuite was entirely adequate. Pat the landlady was very polite and friendly, and made every effort to ensure my stay was a good one! I will definitely be staying here again!

The room was extremely comfortable and equipped with a microwave and fridge. This helped enormously as I could keep food and drink cold and fresh for my daily hiking trips. The B&B is on a main bus route which also helped with my hiking trips and the breakfast was plentiful and excellent value for money. I intend to go and stay there again in the future to complete some of the hiking routes I could not fit in on this trip. It appears other people think the same as me as many people who stay there have stayed there before

There was nothing I did not like regarding this accommodation. Planning where you are going to stay and looking at all the pros and cons helps and there were no "cons" here as far as I could see and the actual stay proved my assessment to be correct.

I was made to feel very welcome at this delightful establishment; my room and the adjoining bathroom were comfortable, clean and well appointed. The inclusion of a fridge and microwave was a stroke of genius! Breakfast was cooked and presented to perfection; it's a long time since I've had bacon that good! All of these things more than made up for missing the football!

The breakfast was first class, plenty of choice and catered for all tastes. We took the opportunity to have a full English each day as we decided to forget our diets for the week? The accommodation was was clean and well presented and within a short drive to the town centre.

The stillness of the immediate locale, perfect room, the sheer effortlessness benevolence of my beautiful host. The extra effort to accommodate my breakfast habits was extraordinary.

Lock on my personal bedroom door was tricky to get right. Hardly an issue considering the safety of the property, but a small peeve.

Had a lovely evening at the HP b&b. A warm welcome from Pat the owner, I think that was her name. Comfy bed, hot shower, a fridge in the room (usually only get that in Australia). I was leaving early in the morning and couldn't have breakfast, so Pat made me a lovely lunch to take with me! Thank you so much, I felt very looked after

Everything was superb. I received a very warm welcome from the hosts, Pat and Howard. The bedroom was fantastic - had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable too! The bathroom was perhaps the cleanest bathroom I’d ever seen, and to top it off, Pat cooked a delicious full English the next day. Superb.
