Lovely room, very clean and nice decor Comfy bed, nice sheets and luxury towels. Good modern en suite. Big tv with lots of channels. Hair dryer and fan. Both welcome.

No Parking within grounds. Had to walk to a public carpark. Not far but inconvenient. Busy road outside bedroom window. Many Metal stairs, outside for entry into the room. I’m 77 and have arthritis. Was not aware of the stairs. Food available for dinner was sparse and not our style. More snack type food. Breakfast not available but they did provide mini boxed cereal and milk, together with tea and coffee. Can’t fault the room though, very nice. Comfy bed and nice bedding. Huge, heavy, luxury, fluffy towels. A bit too much, was like getting dried with a carpet.

The location on the high street was great with lots to see and do. However the food in the Reubens was so good and the outside area was lovely on a sunny evening so I stayed there all night! The room was really nice and had everything I needed including tea and coffee, bottles water, toiletries, smart TV and a great bed and shower. No parking at the hotel but there is a car park to the rear of the hotel which is very cheap. I highly recommend this place!

There is no breakfast, however they offer cereals and snack bars, plus there are lots of places on the high street you can go to so it's not really a problem.

Gorgeous room - lovely decor, spacious, very comfy bed, very clean. Huge shower and double sinks in the bathroom, amazing! Felt very luxurious. Staff really accommodating with check out time. Lovely food in the restaurant when we arrived. Nice to have a few snack options for breakfast despite breakfast not being included. Perfect stay, thank you.

Nothing! It was very hot when we stayed but there was even a fan in the room which helped us stay a little more comfortable. The only extra thing I could have wanted was a full length mirror, but this was easily solved by resting one of the other mirrors on a chair :)

The rooms are spacious, exceptionally clean and well furnished! Quirky and modern! Bed is exceptionally comfortable. Decor is tasteful.Gorgeous fresh, clean, soft and generous sized towels!!

The bathroom is too dark - spotlights do not work! We had this room in our last visit and they did not work and we were told it was a fault! Too dark at night by far! No saucers for cups, only 1 teaspoon! Very noisy in corridor - was woken several times by other residents! Price charged was higher than when we booked! Staff made us feel they did not trust us paying by tracking us down the second we walked in and demanding payment!

This was comfortable and reasonably priced especially for a one night stay and great location for town. I stayed as a stop over pre airport but would happily base myself here for a few days walking with a nice town to spend the evening. The staff were positive and helpful. Fully intend to stay again.

Everything was lovely. The breakfast was a simple cereal box with milk or some snacks by the door as you check in. I was happy with this however and appreciated the oat milk late sachet. Nice touch for dairy free guests. The iron staircase up to the rooms are steep and could be slippery in icy weather.

Very comfortable bed. It's right in centre of town so everything very handy. I had to phone to get exact instructions on how to get to rear to access the accommodation but person on phone was extremely patient and very helpful.

Just a little bit pricey for room only in comparison to other places I've stayed, though they do provide a little bit for self serve breakfast if that could be expanded a little that'd be great.

Reubens is a lovely comfortable place to stay. The room we had was lovely, spacious and well equipped. There is also plenty of parking it’s free after 3pm and you don’t start paying till 9 am.

There was nothing we didn’t like, but it’s worth noting there are a lot of steps which you have to go up to gain access to your room. So if you have a mobility issue this wouldn’t be the place for you.

Absolutely stunning room, albeit I’d recommend Room 1 for size but Room 2 was brilliant as well. The team were excellent at looking after us and making our stay so comfortable.

We loved everything and the only niggle would be about some of the steps outside from the car park to the rooms were a bit slippy. Perhaps the parking pin/postcode could be updated too.

We were well looked after and staff accommodated us when we wanted an earlier check in than normal. Good facilities in the room and a comfy bed. A nice selection of snacks/drinks the next morning.

Not much to report. The odd skirting board maybe could've done with an extra wipe but overall it was very good. The outside beer garden was a little untidy.

Reubens was a stopover on a long trp to Scotland. It was a great choice which we will definitely consider doing again. It was a shame we didn't have time to look around pretty looking Congleton. Smart modern rooms. Friendly staff. Restrant is contemporary and good value for money. Nina's communication beforehand was excellent; thorough and very responsive.
