Good location, close to shops, restaurants etc views were beautiful, great value for breakfast with kids eating for £1 with full paying adult. Room was adequate, good value for the price. We just needed an overnight stop in the way to Holyhead and it was perfect.

Carpet could do with changing in the room- had a very stale smell, unpleasant even though window was kept open and room was aired. Could have done with a towel to put on the floor outside of the shower, we paid for towels but didnt get one for the floor. It got quite wet. These are only minor negatives, points of feedback, and wouldn't stop us staying there again.

The staff are brilliant. We were welcomed by Mike, who was very helpful. He made sure we have disabled badge holder spot. The views are spectacular from the room to the terrace to the living room plus the dining hall. We paid extra money for cooked breakfast, which also had continental breakfast included. We were given discounts on one child's breakfast, and it was £1. This definitely made our day. There was a pool table and table football. The kids enjoyed their stay thoroughly. Tourist attractions are at the doorstep. You could walk down to Conwy castle. It was good value for the money we paid. The shower was amazing.

The place is a little run down and needs some renovation. It still doesn't affect your stay and you can still enjoy it. The terrace grass needed trimmed down , only reason we couldn't sit there.

10 mins walk seems a bit far in a small town but it's worth it. It has an observation deck that could enjoy the town view. Spacious dining area, I did buy my own food and enjoy the big glass window to view outside.

Although it's worth it to hike up to 10 mins to the hostel, be prepared for your food so that there is no need to go back to the town centre to do the shopping. Also, not really strong soundproofing, I can hear someone snoozing in the next room, and the kids were running and laughing on the next floor.

The hostel was very spacious and although full, never felt crowded. There were lots of different spaces for people to sit quietly or meet up with friends. There was a lift for taking luggage up to the room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The staff were very nice. Location was very close to the town so we were able to walk everywhere, though the walk back is up a big hill! Beds were comfy enough, the duvets were lovely and the shower was wonderfully powerful, though there isn’t an adjustable shower head so might be difficult for short people or children. We didn’t try the breakfast but it was very popular!

Bunkbeds were very squeaky and our two bed en-suite was the size of a box room so there was little space to move or put/store our things (only one small cupboard) when two people were in the room. Four bedded rooms we saw were proportionally bigger…our room would have been better as a single. Bathroom fan didn’t work and no window in bathroom.

My family had a great one night stay here after climbing Snowden. We had a four bed dorm with two bunk beds & bathroom. Nice & clean, beds good, great shower, ample electricity sockets for charging, good heating & decent, hot shower. We didn't use the communal facilities much. However, they did appear to be well kept & there is a nice atmosphere about the place. Friendly, helpful staff both on check-in & check-out.

Nothing, all good.

Basic but clean room with en-suite bathroom. Great games room and pool table room. Lovely dining area and kitchen with everything you could need for making drinks and hot food. Friendly and efficient staff. Close car parks. Wonderful views from the dining hall and top floor of the building.

All was fantastic, the only thing I could say was that our room was missing was a side board, table or shelf to put things on. It only had some very tiny cupboards on the wall.

After a month staying in hostels all around the country, I can say this is one of the absolute best. The views are great Well stocked kitchen Rooms have good ventilation (very important) Good facilities Lots of common spaces Wifi not too bad Staff extremely helpful

If arriving by foot, get ready for a hike uphill to get to the hostel.

Clean room, nice common spaces, working free wifi, bar and cafe open till 10pm,friendly staff. Working warm shower.the overalll YHA vibe. The location and the views

The strucrure is old and in need of modernisation . We came during a heatwave and the room (1st floor) was extremely hot yet we could not open the windom more than a tiny but. Bunk beds whobbly but solid. Cooked breafast not very generous (albwit it allows you to help ypurself with the continental breakfast). Not great coffee.

Great views and comfortable communal spaces. Kitchen was very well equipped and the cafe was great. Good location near to town and station. Pity about the hill you have to walk up to get there if you are on foot, but that's the price you pay for great views!

Pity there was no WiFi in rooms, but in communal spaces it was good The outside of the building and gardens could do with a bit more TLC, but inside was well kept

Good breakfast, pleasant and friendly staff, good location, comfy (but creaky) beds, good car parking availability

One of the ovens in the self serve kitchen did not appear to be working properly, took ages to heat small pizzas. Shower nice and powerful but fixed head meant flooding the floor when selecting ideal water temperature before entry to enclosure.
