Staff, location and continental breakfast really good. Lovely rooms and very comfortable beds.

Understood this before we went, although a great location it is no surprise that it is very noisy with the traffic, especially as the building doesn’t have double glazing. Again, we were aware that Johnny Dough’s don’t have their own car park. Surely some arrangement could be made for customers to be given a car parking pass for the length of their stay for nearby car parks instead of having to top up the parking meters every day?

Nice size room with a fabulous view of Conwy Castle. The bed was big and super comfy with nice clean bedding. Tassimo machine was a nice touch and appreciated the fan and air con machine. Pizzas in the restaurant were amazing!! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

The room looked a little tired and was let down by some finishing touches that hadn't been done. Curtains weren't secured to the curtain rail at the end and one of the blinds couldn't be used as there was no cord on it. Could've done with a shelf in the shower and the shower head was held up by cable ties to stop it sliding down the pole.

Great location just across the bridge into town. Town car park located a few minutes walk away. Conwy Castle is practically across the street. Their restaurant has wonderful pizza, salad, brews and dessert. The included breakfast is delivered outside your room door at 8:00 and was great. It included fresh cut up fruit, yogurt, large scone with butter/jam and bottle of juice. Fresh coffee plus is made in your room. An outdoor second floor balcony is available to use where we enjoyed our breakfast. Staff was wonderful to come clean and dry the tables/chairs up from the previous day’s rain so we could use it.

Great room! Modern, clean, comfortable. We had a millionaire's shortbread on arrival and there were tea/coffee facilities and biscuits. Easy, laminated copies of how to use coffee machine, the fan. Netflix! We had breakfast in the morning which was unexpected!

Extremely hot- the fan didn't really do much as it had very hot air coming out the back. Our coffee machine was due to be descaled so we didn't get to have a coffee :( I could have gone down and requested a different machine so no fault of the hotel! A little noisy at night and not very private as our room looked our onto the streets, however great view of the castle!

Nice staff , own enterence to the property without time issues , locations lovely with a castle out your window and a great cheese shop opp , breakfast was in a bag and different which was nice . All round well worth a stay and we would use it again without doubt .

Parkings an issue . Ok walk through the tunnel opp and down the hill and a few hundred yards away is a road you wont get ticketed on , benarth road . Its next to the bowls club . Theres a small bay around the back it would be nice if it could be used for dropping off arrivals . The recommended car parks poor . Its short stay so you will need to keep feeding the meter as there is no overnight rate ( £6 to 7.50 elsewhere ) . A night will kick you over 25 quid ! . Not JD`s fault though but worth knowing .

Fab location and lovely room. Room spotless on arrival. Communal balcony with nice views. Exceptionaly busy restaurant staff were all lovely and very helpful.

Housekeeping needs improvement. The room was spotless on arrival, however after four days I had to ask for the bins to be emptied as no one had been in. Bins were emptied and tea/coffee were restocked however towels and bed linen were not. This was the first and last time housekeeping would service our room.

It was located near the castle in Conwy. Some rooms had a fantastic view of the castle as did some of the restaurant tables. The pizza restaurant downstairs was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu was creative and tasty. The approach to the rooms was a little shabby but the rooms themselves were well appointed with a generous supply of teas coffees biscuits and some very tasty brownies. The welcome was warm and friendly too.

The corridors to the rooms needed some decorating but the rooms were good.

Really comfortable bed, nice decor and lovely cake on arrival. Especially enjoyed the breakfast which was delivered to our door in the morning and the coffee making facilities. The property is in an absolutely brilliant location close to the harbour, castle and other attractions.

Could possibly have done with an extra chair in the room/slightly more surfaces to put things on! Wasn't an issue for us as we only stayed one night but I can imagine it being a bit annoying if you were there an extended period of time.

Such a cute little place. Stayed here as it was close to the start line for the Conwy half. The staff are very polite and helpful. We ordered pizza for tea and as it was busy they brought it up to us to eat. The room was a good size with a huge bathroom. There was a tassimo for coffee as well as kettle with all the tea shabam including biscuits. There was a continental breakfast that they leave at your door which was a lovely little bag of orange juice, croissant with butter and jam, fruit and a yogurt. You also have access to their wifi and Netflix.

The bathroom could do with a bath mat - even if its paper as the floor gets wet and slippy. The bath grout round the bath needs some bleach just to clean the red grime round it. The bed has a catch on it to hold the 2 halves together and I caught my foot on it which bled quite badly (apologies for the blood on the carpet)

Amazing location, breathtaking view - one window looked out on the harbor the other at the castle. Great service, fantastic continental breakfast delivered every morning at 8:30. Nespresso machine in the room made delicious coffees. Bedding was white, crisp and clean.

Room needs some attentions to the details, old grouting, old carpet (but clean), 1 of 2 windows wouldn’t open. They just need to clean the nooks and crannies.
