Very helpful staff, had to book extra night, which was no problem. Good size room in an excellent position (276)

Only 1 gripe, breakfast on 1st morning was overcooked, even though it was only 15 minutes into service

The room was great, really big and comfortable and a nice big, bed. The breakfast quality was really good, with hot food made to order. Beautiful location on the water with nice terrace for the early evening.

I didn't like having to book a time for breakfast. I understand the need for the restaurant but as a customer (and with the amount you pay to stay at the hotel...) to not have flexibility and have to think in advance for 3 mornings doesn't work for me and may stop me choosing to stay in the future. For example on one morning I was given the option of 8:15am or 10:30am.

Lovely hotel in a stunning location. Comfortable rooms, clean bedding, towels and soft pillows. Food in restaurant was tasty and well cooked, breakfast plentiful with good selection. Well stocked bar with reasonable prices for hotel. Staff were professional. Hotel reception and corridors were clean, well decorated and inner courtyard was stunning. Easy access by car or bike to Conwy, Llandudno and Colwyn Bay.

On booking, hotel need to be clear of room location. Mine stated no sea view but view of inner courtyard. Disappointingly we ended up with a ground floor room with a view of car park, not quite the scenic view we'd anticipated.

Easy to check in and free parking right by the hotel. Location is stunning with an excellent view of Conwy castle in the distance. Our room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfy. The hotel staff were very thorough, confirming times for breakfast and the restaurant through booking. The food was stunning and the staff very helpful. I liked that there were hotter options with breakfast alongside your choice of toast, cereals and other things. We sat outside the bar when the sun came out and it was relaxing and fine. We used the pool, sauna and steam room on both days at a later hour, which we enjoyed. It was a very relaxing an enjoyable stay.

We had visited The Quay before for food & drink but never stayed. It met our expectations and provided us with a wonderfully relaxing break. Staff on reception were welcoming on arrival and check in was very quick. Our bedroom was a really good size and overlooked the interior courtyard which was lit by fairy lights at night. Breakfast was run very smoothly and all main breakfast items were cooked to order and delicious. We used the nearby Deganwy train stop on a couple of occasions to get to Llandudno and walked into Conwy one day which took 30 mins. An excellent stay, will definitely return!

Very minor issues (these would not stop us returning) - No full size ironing board. Lack of convenient socket by mirror for hairdryer. Mini fridge in room not really cold.

Breakfast was really good 10/10 selection really good. Spa was all working clean and not busy, our view was of the courtyard which was ok. Staff was very helpful.

Waiting time for drinks was bad as we waited 20 minutes the first night for our drinks, and the only problem with payment for the first nights meal/drinks they tried to charge us twice as I explained when we checked out I had paid it and showed the receipt which they accepted then when we got home rang me for payment which then I had to email my receipt again and I still haven’t had a reply,

The facilities, including the spa, were very good. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with all the meals: the Quay breakfasts were substantial and it was good to be able to select individual items. We enjoyed an excellent anniversary meal and were made to feel special by the staff who served us. We even received a couple of little extras. Overall, it was a really good and enjoyable stay.

The fridge in our room didn't work despite the efforts of the staff.

The estuary view from the room was breathtaking. The balcony was a glorious sun trap. The room was bright, immaculate and the bed was probably the comfiest I've ever slept in. Great pool area, everywhere was immaculate and the staff were all really helpful. We had a wonderful stay and I can't recommend the hotel highly enough. If you can push the boat out to get the estuary view room with the balcony you definitely won't regret it! What a perfect way to wake up to that view!

The breakfast didn't start until 8am which is a lot later than we would have liked. It seemed a lot of other people felt the same as the breakfast room was very busy at 8am. I appreciate weekends normally have a later start, but not stayed at a property with as late a breakfast before. The bar service in the evening was quite slow, it took 15 minutes to get our drinks and the bar area wasn't particularly busy. We would have stayed for more but didn't feel like waiting this long again.

Hotel in a perfect location between Conwy & Llandudno both within walking distance if you enjoy walking , hotel offers great food ,there are also a few restaurants less than 800 yds away in Deganwy , also worth checking out the Mulberry in Conwy Marina . Every member of staff we encountered on our stay were so polite and ,helpful you will enjoy one of the best breakfasts ever. Room was spotless ,overlooking the estuary . We did use the spa facilities , which we enjoyed did not book any treatments so cannot comment on this .Would definitely recommend and would look to book another stay in this area of outstanding beauty

Absolutely nothing we had a perfect stay from Monday to Friday wish we could have stayed longer

The hotel is on the Marina and it’s it there are no words to describe the breath taking views over the water with the mountains. The superior double room is outstanding with extremely comfortable beds and housekeeping it impeccable! The staff really went above and beyond for our stay, if the hotel building wasn’t enough their level of professionalism and friendliness was just a breath of fresh air. Would definitely recommend the Ebb and Flow restaurant both for breakfast and evening meals, Hugh quality food and epic service! I cannot recommend this hotel enough, will definitely be returning.
