Overall experience was good and enjoyable. Plenty of car parking space, lounge area was excellent and well served with good range of drinks and food. Although room was in need of fresh court of paint, (in hand we guess), it was well laid out, with, walk-in shower and a mini-fridge with complimentary arrivals drink. We requested ground-floor room when booking , which was met on arrival, reflecting the accurate booking administration. Notwithstanding all these, the stars of this hotel were all its cheerful, professional and courteous staff. Particular-shout out to the reception team and a very special mention to Tracey for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Looking forward to revisit next time in the area.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast food provided a good choice. Our first evening meal of chickhen liver pate (too much pate and/or not enough bread), hand battered haddock with upgrade to sweet potato fries (too many fries) and nourish bowl (Limp salad) was slightly disappointing. Or second evening meal burmese Lime & lemon grass was much better

Our booking via Booking.com stated that we had booked a standard or twin bed room but we were allocated a standard double room. The bed was too small for two and there was inadequate room to move around. Luckily we were able to move to a twin bed premium room which resolved the sleeping issue and provided much more space for a comfortable stay.

Great location , very very clean room and everything in the hotel looks well maintained. Fantastic room - bed for child was set up before arrival , option for different pillows and nice coffee/tea making facility. Air conditioning worked perfectly - just perfection. Great breakfast and staff was very friendly and helpful. They even had kids corner I mean they thought about so many details I was very impressed because for the first time I felt like hotel actually does the best they can and actually care about visitors. So so lovely and definitely recommend and will stay again.

Honestly everything was amazing but I would like to mention 2 things I hope can be perfected- * please add pancakes to breakfast menu * doors of the rooms are very loud - when trying to sleep can hear them open close and that was quite annoying

We have stayed at many Holiday Inns throughout the UK and USA and this was the best we have ever stayed at. Every member of staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, it was clean, welcoming and comfortable. We had dinner and drinks in the evening, which was good quality and the atmosphere in the bar area was relaxed. We used the pool, which was spacious, clean and quiet. It was relaxed and perfect for an overnight stopover or few nights away. The location was perfect for the motorway, yet far enough from the road that it felt like it was in the countryside. We'd definitely recommend it :-)

Nothing - it was all great!

Location excellent, just off the motorway but it didn't feel like it and no traffic noise. Nice grounds with wild rabbits! The pool was great, really warm, great changing rooms and free toiletries in the showers and towels. The two children slept on a sofa bed in our room which worked well. Delicious dinner and breakfast and reallt good selection. Lots of vegan options! Checkout at 12 which meant we could use the pool again in the morning. Would recommend!

I can't think of anything negative, everything was great.

We were 3 adults and one child of 16. When looking at the menu the child's menu was really more geared towards younger children so we asked if we could upgrade to an extra adult. Due to the package they were not able to do this but the manager Kerry arranged for us to have an extra starter and main course. Every single member of the team were exceptional in their customer service.

I emailed the property twice before our visit to confirm that breakfast and dinner was included in our package and received no reply which was disappointing. Drinks prices were high - £3.85 for a cappuccino and £6.45 for a Koppaberg.

Liked the swimming pool jacuzzi and sauna the evening meal was 3 courses and was excellent and also a tasty breakfast also the reception staff were very helpful

There was a bad smell in the reception area the staff said it was the drainage and it would be fixed it was next to the bar area aswell so wasn't the most pleasant experience when having a drink also in the early hours of the morning the people next door were having a argument and banging doors and swearing it wasn't nice to hear and also there was a safe in our room which we couldn't use as the last guests had locked it and there were no staff on site who could open it for us

The location was wrong, typed in hotels near Cosford this came up, said 6 miles from Cosford but in reality it was 60 miles so meeting up with family for an evening meal meant a two hr round trip the evening we arrived then another 2 hr round trip the following day to go to the airshow, so maybe you could update your information, apart from that it was a lovely comfortable stay 😀

Lovely quiet hotel, yet very close to the M1! Staff were brilliant and welcoming, particularly in the restaurant and bar. The lady who I think was the duty manager was particularly fantastic and made sure our children got their welcome pack. Pool and gym looked good, even though we didn’t have time to use them. A tasty breakfast with a good selection. Room comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

Everything, room, lovely staff, so attentive, polite and professional. Fantastic breakfast, good value, 5 stars to the brekkie chef. Grandchildren loved the pool. There was nothing I didn't like however, in hindsight I should have asked for a change of room with a bigger bed instead of the double, reason being I broke my shoulder the weekend before our stay and my husband was worried about knocking into me during the night and, so was I so sleep was disturbed.
