Hosts were incredibly kind & helpful to me, assisting me tremendously with a broken down vehicle en-route to their lovely farm! They really went the extra mile in many ways to demonstrate that kindness is alive and well in Devon! The farm is gorgeous, the facilities are extremely comfortable and homely with every possible wish catered to and many unexpected touches that really made me feel so cared for & valued as a customer - which can be a rare thing these days. Don't hesitate to book here!

We were made most welcome by Diane and home-made cake was waiting for us in our room when we arrived. As I am a coeliac, a gluten free cake had been provided for me which was very kind. The breakfast was delicious, and again, I was catered for with a gluten free meal. Our room was spacious and comfortable and quiet, with a view of the countryside. It was all peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!

Nothing could have been better, we were very happy!

Lovely quiet farm location. Close enough to town to get there for supper (or any local activities during the day). Nice welcome on arrival and opportunity to chat during our stay. Cake with a cup of tea in our room was a lovely touch. Breakfast excellent, plenty of space in the room which was lovely and cosy given the weather outside. Even the ducks and cats were welcoming,. We'd go back.

The Farm is located just off main road. Very friendly and helpful lady at the farm. Cake with my tea and coffee in my room. Breakfast was very good choice of cereal and toast. Tea or coffee. Plus the cooked breakfast was very good. Land lady couldn't of been nicer. I will be back there to stay again when in the area. If your traveling for work and have a van its very safe. Pleasant of room for a large Van and very safe.

Nothing could of been better. Im looking forward to being back at some point.

The peace and quiet and warm farmhouse feeling and nothing was to much trouble for the lovely, friendly host. A nice proper cooked breakfast in the morning with plenty to eat welcomes you in the morning. The room was cosy and clean same with the bathroom with a good hot powerful shower.I shall definatly be staying again in future for business and small breaks. It's a working farm so don't expect it to be just off the M5 but with sat nav, common sense and not driving like maverick In top gun you will be able to find it!!. keep your fancy hotels I'd rather be here everyday keep up the good work and look forward to staying again.

Wonderful, friendly host. Warm and welcoming into a very characterful rural property where parking was plentiful and convenient, right at the front door. The room was fresh, clean, bright and airy with a fabulous extra touch of homemade cake to go with the varied drinks facilities in the room. Bedding was crisp and clean and aided in a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided was plentiful and second to none. Cereal, continental and full english were on offer and nothing was too much trouble. Cannot recommend highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Great value.

Everything was so relaxing and friendly. On arrival a wonderful piece of cake in the room, much appreciated after a tough days cycling in the hills to get there but so well worth it. Very clean bedroom with a good size en-suite shower room with toiletries, and a nice comfy bed. The farm, which has so much history, is located in a beautiful setting, so peaceful and relaxing, felt very much at home. The proprietors and family could not have been more helpful and welcoming. A wonderful full English breakfast to start the days onward cycling, such a shame I had to move on, would have loved to have stayed longer. The local pub in Butterleigh village was most welcoming, serving nice food and good beers and only a pleasant mile walk from the farm with stunning views whilst en-route so well worth a visit.

Diane was welcoming and the breakfast she laid on very good. Room was large, with en-suite bathroom / loo, but with no shower. There was one for my exclusive use, but this was downstairs. Tea, coffee, biscuits in the room, along with a slice of home made cake! I would stay again if in the area.

All good!

The host was super friendly and the piece of fruit cake and milk left in my room upon arrival was a lovely touch! Breakfast was enormous so you're definitely not going to go hungry after that! I enjoyed the secluded location but it may not be for everyone! I had a flat tyre on my bike and they were totally fine with me staying a while longer in the morning whilst I sorted that out which I was very grateful for! Absolute bargain for the money!

I was happy to only have a bath and no shower but for some, this might not be ideal. I'm not sure if the other bathrooms have a shower.

The hostess here is so welcoming and really goes out of her way to give you a personal welcome and help in any way she can. There are fresh vases of flowers all over the house and homely touches. She provides fresh cake and milk in a flask in your room each night and breakfast is cooked to order each morning with a wide range of choice. The beds are comfy and it's a wonderfully characterful old farmhouse.
