Absolutely adored the accomodation, it was spacious, light, clean, had the added bonus of a bath and lovely window view. It had an amazing selection in the mini kitchen and fridge which was incredibly generous, and everything was just wonderful. Would definitely stay again.

Only constructive comment as opposed to not liking something would be, some washing up liquid and a sponge could be useful if you are wishing to wash and reuse dishes :) also, was unsure whether we were permitted to go into the garden so maybe a note of whether this is or isn't allowed would be helpful. Apologies if either of these exist and I had missed them! These are just tiny things as we were more than happy and very grateful for the fantastic accomodation and wonderful facilities.

Lovely welcome, fresh fruit and cream eclairs on arrival. Well stocked for breakfast - cereals, tea/coffee, fresh milk, strawberries, loaf of bread, ham, cheese and pastries. Loved the guard Peacock! He kept popping round to the window lol. Would definitely go again (through the shorter one track route)

Bit of an adventure to get there but we had come through the longest stretch of one lane roads - much shorter on the way out. This isn’t really a dislike of the property just my personal driving dislike of one track roads.

It was peaceful, quiet, and solitary. I woke up in the morning with the view of chickens, peacocks and sheep and I was in heaven for it. The owners were so so so lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Just genuinely nice people. I had my own kitchen/dining area that was stocked with breakfast, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cakes and all sorts of food to get me through! There was a big bathtub and shower, a tv, large wardrobe, and all sorts of other stuff to help in any situation. I will definitely be going back.

Nothing.

The rural location was quiet, amidst beautiful Devon countryside. Carol greeted us warmly and had everything set out ready for us in our self-contained rooms, which were spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable, water hot and plentiful, and in her provision of choices for breakfast Carol had thought of everything we could possibly want.

Our only regret was that we had to move on after only one night.

Very nice place. Cosy room, very comfy bed and pillow. The peacock in the garden is definitely the attraction of this place.

There was no other sink than the toilet. There is a small kitchen set up but nowhere the wash or clean after yourself. The property is in Cullompton, but very easy access from M5. I just wish it was closer.

We loved every minute we spent at this cosy, warm, well stocked fridge, the peacocks visit every morning was fantastic. We would highly recommend this place. Carol and David were there to welcome us and to send us on our merry way.

Well-located for the purposes of our visit. A superbly quiet place with pleasant views of the garden and the countryside. A really excellent room (a small suite, actually), with a comfortable bed and good furniture. The breakfast was do-it-yourself; we were supplied with a wide range of food to put something together. It worked well and we especially liked seasonal soft fruit from the garden - a nice touch.

The approach is by a very narrow lane. Common enough, especially in Devon, but a bit disconcerting if you're not used to them. The shower is in the bath and isn't easy to get in or out of, especially if you're of a certain age. Perhaps some grab-handles would help.

The breakfast was sort your own but there were loads of options. There was a fridge full of food, fruit and lots of drink options. I would definitely book again if I was in the area.

Access via the lane. Devon council need to fix some serious potholes.
