The breakfast was excellent and all of the staff interactions were very good and helpful. The hotel is very well located and the car park was ample. The evening meal we had one night was very good quality and the staff was very attentive.

We worked it out, but it would have been good to have instructions for how the room heater worked which did not appear to be available.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Everyone said hello or good morning to you. The spa area was often busy- but clean and relaxing. The surrounding greenery was lovely. We had a great mini break.

Honestly not much! The beds are very hard, I have a disability and it wasn’t a restful night because of the hard bed unfortunately. If I was being picky the breakfast was a little overpriced for what is offered. The veggie sausages weren’t nice and a bit more choice at breakfast would have been better. The staff were lovely though.

Room was great although let down due to not having convenient plug points (need some next to bed) Facilities were great, good spa and Bistro. Staff were friendly and helpful, bar and evening Bistro was excellent.

Breakfast was mediocre, not much choice, eggs & bacon were cold. Could be much better, don't mind self service buffet but a nice touch when the coffee and toast is brought to table.

It was an unplanned stay-over due to the bad weather conditions and we were pleasantly surprised to stay here and made use of the facilities in terms of the spa and the pitch and putt golf. We had lunch here on arrival and although the service was a little slow the food was delicious. The rooms were very comfortable with everything we could need for an overnight stay. The hotel staff were smiley and helpful.

There was nothing not to like...

The staff were friendly, accommodating and competent when problems arose The dinner was delicious and our requests were catered to with ease The room was spacious and comfy Gluten free bread was appreciated.

A returned phone call would have been appreciated as we'd liked to have booked spa treatments but they were fully booked when we arrived. The veggie breakfast was okay but would benefit from avocado and hash browns The shower in our room wasn't very powerful and all the wall sockets were on one side of the bed.

Check in was done on line before arrival which easy, room was clean and comfortable, we had 1 meal in the restaurant which was ok although quite expensive for what it was. Onsite parking is available at no extra cost.

Menu in the restaurant was very limited in regards to the amount of choice, expensive for the what it was, Previously you could order off the bar menu as well as the al la cart menu even if dining in the restaurant this has now changed

We have stayed at BEST WESTERN hotels in the past, so we knew what they were like and this one was very, very nice with the added bonus of a spa and golf course. We wanted to visit DARTMOUTH and as the hotel is situated only 4 miles away so we drove to the very handy park and ride. We had a evening meal at the hotel, which was a small menu, but the food was good.

Only the expensive breakfast, which we did not have.

Room was clean and comfortable, Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Good breakfast. Food cooked and presented nicely.

I would have liked some fresh fruit at breakfast time. Our service at the evening meal was sometimes a bit slow and we felt a bit overlooked as others appeared to be served quicker at times. If we had stayed for longer the menu didn't have enough variety, though for our 2 nights we were happy.

Pillows TOO hard and this resulted in a poor nights sleep. A small swimming pool which unbelievably was sectioned off for swimming lessons making it impossible for the 6 people in the pool to move without colliding while one child was having lessons in the other half. On a friday when guests arrive for a weekend stay and want to jump in the pool after a long drive it is a poor policy to have swimming lessons taking place! You bar staff did not know what a Whisky and dry was and it took ages to get my drink while they disappeared to consult!!

Pillows that were too hard. The fact that Swimming lessons were taking place in an alreadt VERY small pool.

There was a waiter name Ivan. He was very nice. He tried really hard to make our dinner experience a little better.

We had dinner one evening and the service was terrible. It took 30 mins to bring the wine to our table and the waiter (not Ivan) just put it on the table and walked away. The menu was limited, I expected options of fine dining not pub food. The shower temperature control in our room was stuck on HOT and the exhaust fan and the heated towel rack were not working.
