The owners were lovely and accommodating and in touch instantly over messages. The room itself is clearly maintained with love and has little additions of quality like real coffee and ample supply of milk pods so you don’t run out. To me, things that only someone who has travelled and knows appreciated amenities could add. The bathroom was the cleanest I’ve seen in all my travels. And the cost was great for where the location was and how the property is kept and how you are treated. Thank you so much for a perfect stay

Brilliant location. A lovely little room, very clean and tidy and a great trusting and homely feeling.

Nothing not to like. If you’re expecting a 5 star hotel feel then you’ve missed the point. It’s an old building and small rooms. But it was brilliant, clean, perfectly located, lovely teas and coffees set up. Little Mini bar idea was excellent also. And great value. We wouldn’t have been any more happier or comfier if we had stayed in the Royal hotel.

We didn’t meet any staff so I can’t comment on the staff. The rooms are tiny and basic but clean and the location is excellent. We attended a party on a boat and were less then a 5 minute walk to and from the dock. The bed is a double which felt small but the room itself is small so it was ok. Appreciated the honour bar system and snacks that were provided and the glass bottles of water were a nice touch.

Because it’s in the centre of town it’s noisy. Church bells chime every hour, noisy cats, seagulls, just added to the charm of that corner of Devon. There was an offer of ear plugs but I didn’t ask for any.

the room was lovely and cosy and enough space for a couple. The attention to detail was brilliant in case you forgotten something, and is what I liked most about this room. eg. pretty little bottles of shower/hair lotions/make up pads & ear buds, also the “honesty box” with several items to choose from if you fancy a drink or two,or a midnight snack,or even paracetamol from the drinks the night before lol.

Not a dislike as such, just letting others know in case it’s a must for them. no parking on site due to the b&b being on a little side street, however, there is a couple of car parks just around the corner and only 2/3 minute walk to the car !

Small and comfortable. Almost a little hide away. Perfect on a wet and dank evening. A feeling of being a part of Dartmouth. If this is what this place was like in February, can you imagine what it woud be like on a fresh and warm June day? I will be finding out.

The cafe was closed in the morning - walking through it at twelve at night the cakes looked very tempting. Perfect place just down the stairs to start the day with a coffee - I imagine.

Pleasant room, comfy bed, excellent central location. Lots of tea, coffee, ground coffee, hot chocolate, 2 lovely little cakes, with an honesty box for further drinks and snacks if needed. Although the owners are not there, they respond immediately to a message. Park and Ride - can pay for more than one day when you arrive if you use RingGo.

I would have liked a little television on the wall, I didn't know how to work the ipad and it was very small. But it didn't really matter as I had my phone and wasn't in much. Noisy plumbing - perhaps to be expected in old building.

Easy check in and out. Simple, clean and great location. Nice touches with honesty bar. Fan provided and even charging plugs. They had thought of everything.

Seagulls wake you early. ( to be expected at location) 2nd story so not for people with mobility problems. Old building so floor uneven. No problem for us but not suitable for anyone unstable on feet.

Great location we only needed the room for a night so everything that we needed was there. On leaving we had a problem of our own making, made a phone call problem fixed within 5 minutes excellent customer service.

Seagulls a bit loud but nothing can be done about that nature of the location.

The accomodation is on the budget side for Dartmouth, but has a great location and the room was clean and easy to access and use. There were also some nice small touches with some complimentary items.

No staff were present during our stay and the Brasserie was closed, but we spent little time in the accomodation so this was not an issue and there were no problems to report.

Convenient location

In booking.com the property is listed as a b&b, this influenced our choice, but the property does not provide food. This is stated when making making final payment.
