Amazing find-one of the best establishments we have stayed at in Dartmouth! Nikki and Mitch were fantastic hosts they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They kept us fully informed of available options at their B&B prior and during our stay. Nikki signposted us to nearby areas where we could park for the whole duration of our stay for free. Very comfortable, well appointed, exceptionally clean accomodation and the breakfast could only be described as exceptional it far exceeded our expectations. Located on the level and set back in a quiet location, in the central area of Dartmouth we found this establishment to be an absolute gem! We couldn't have wished for better, our hosts ensured service with a smile where nothing was too much trouble! Thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Anzac B and Bistro... we will be back!

Absolutely nothing!

From Trevor Hyland On the day I entered the property Nicky welcomed me and showed me to my beautiful bedroom and shower room where I found everything spotlessly clean and inviting. During my stay the rest of the staff Mitch, Flo and Omar gave excellent service and were always on hand to give me any help or advice I needed. I used the restaurant on 4 of my 5 night stay and the menu gave a great choice and found all the meals to be delicious and beautifully presented and fell in love with the Dartmouth Gin. Will definitely be back not only for the Gin but to enjoy such a welcoming and well run 5 star establishment.

There was nothing that I disliked.

We loved everything about the Anzac Bistro and accommodation. We immediately felt welcome as soon as we set foot through the door. The restaurant was in full swing, yet Nicky, Mitch and their staff were gracious and welcoming, and always had time to stop to chat. We really enjoyed and appreciated the personal contact we had with our hosts, which we felt really made our stay special. Their local knowledge and helpful information (re car parking, river taxis, etc!) was invaluable to us and put a whole different light on our first visit to Dartmouth. Our room, with modern ensuite, was very elegantly and attractively decorated, clean, comfortable, spacious and a wee haven, accessible directly from the restaurant below. We ate in the restaurant that evening and for breakfast the next 2 days. We felt we had landed in a little corner of France! Cosy, intimate and tasteful decor and every meal worthy of Michelin stars, in our opinion. We couldn't rate it highly enough and would love to return to stay again! There was nothing we didn't like!

The hotel could not have a better location, just a few minutes walk from everything you need in Dartmouth but without the noise and traffic. Inside there was a calm and peaceful atmosphere and a very warm friendly welcome. The breakfast was exceptional, a fabulous fruit salad to start, cereals and a choice of cooked items. Very good. We used the restaurant for dinner and had a lovely meal. All the staff were good and were knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The food was great.

It would be hard to find something to moan about.

Beautifully appointed room, great breakfast and Nikki and Mitch are the very best hosts!! Bistro food is outstanding. Location is quiet but so close to the best areas for discovering historic Dartmouth. We were warmly greeted, and treated like family during our four night stay! A warm and cozy retreat to come back to after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!!!!

No dislikes!

Excellent location, close to all amenities. Excellent breakfasts and one evening meal. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful light bedroom and excellent bathroom.

The bed was a double that appeared to have a slope on one side giving the feeling of falling out of the bed!. A king size bed would be much better. Parking nearby can be an issue.

Excellent location within easy reach of all that Dartmouth has to offer. Lovely period accomodation in a central but quiet area. Hosts were very friendly relaxed and made you feel welcome. Nothing to much trouble to make your stay comfortable. Would we stay again. Definitely.

Absolutely lovely host and a fabulous breakfast.

The host leaves music on for an unknown reason all day in to the evening, not late, but scuppers any siesta plans!

It was an expensive stay for us but very convienent. Size of room and decor was lovely as was the cleanliness and daily room service. Food was especially good and all needs accommodated. Bathroom was fully functional with a good shower. Fridge in room was convenient however accessed in wardrobe not so.

Bathroom door lock requires attention. No Iron or ironing board in the room. View from rear window not great. Bedroom door mortice lock key requires attention. Wardrobecupboard functional

Lovely homely feel , excellent decor and always happy music playing . The fruit served at breakfast was exceptional and looked so fresh too - i like the way you say what time you want breakfast and chose your preference . Very efficient.
