Our room was really fabulous in every way with an amazing view over the Clwydians. Angie greeted us on arrival and was the perfect 'mine host,' we just wish we could have stayed longer. Breakfast was cooked to perfection by Angie and was served in the most perfect dining room we have ever been in, such terrific attention to detail. A truly all round amazing stay.

We loved everything about Castle House

The experience was great Charlie & Angie were fantastic. The bedroom was comfortable & practical you were made to feel special. Would highly recommend this little gem which has stunning views of rural Denbigh.

We had a fantastic stay and thoroughly enjoyed this property. Incredible views over the valley where we had our breakfast and again in the evening when we sat outside looking at the stars. The hosts were incredible and catered to our every request. By far the most memorable place we've stayed on our European vacation!

Everything was truly exceptional during our stay. The host went above and beyond by graciously offering to drop us off and pick us up from a local restaurant when we encountered difficulties getting a taxi. The room itself was remarkably spacious, and the breathtaking views of the countryside added to the overall experience.

Very little natural light in the bedroom in which I stayed (this applies only to one specific bedroom)

The breakfast was delicious and our hosts were friendly, with good restaurant suggestions. Very cool location, an easy walk to a near by castle ruins.

Amazing views, lovely history and unique location with the ruins and castle walls. Large bedroom, really comfortable bed, fantastic breakfast. Amazing host.

It’s loved and we were given a warm, friendly welcome. Everything was clean and the room & en suite were a very good size. Angie & her husband Charlie do everything- there are currently no staff - so it’s an enormous undertaking which they somehow keep on top of.

It’s very hard to find even with satnav and Angie’s detailed directions. A sign at the end of the track that leads to the house would solve the problem at a stroke. We felt it was a shame having the collapsed whirligig washing line in the garden which otherwise has a wonderful view. The entrance porch also had a lot of clutter in it giving a poorer first impression than it deserves.
