The house was very clean and spacious. The host is welcoming. Our bedroom was with bathroom and bathtub. There’s sitting room and a balcony upstairs, a bar and game room downstairs where you can play snooker enjoying a drink. We had welcome drinks and snacks! Susan cooked for us amazingly delicious breakfast and even prepared for us packed breakfast for the next morning when we had to leave early. The garden is huge and the view amazing. You can even sit at the swimming pool looking at the sunset!

Unfortunately there’s a problem with the boiler and we couldn’t enjoy swimming in the pool.

Tall Trees, and our host, exceeded our expectations. Tall Trees is well positioned and within easy reach of all destinations within North Wales. On our arrival, we were made most welcome by our host. Our room was well designed and a lot of thought had been given to the facilities such as toiletries and tea making. The top lounge and balcony overlooked some superb views of the Welsh hills where our host entertained us with refreshments. Downstairs, we had other superbly designed lounges within which we could relax. We cannot, of course, not mention the breakfast, it was delicious, and all freshly cooked and well presented.

We cannot find anything to dislike.

 This place is fantastic.. Susan and Owen are great hosts . Welcome drinks and nibbles on arrival on the balcony.. Room was lovely.. snooker table.. lounge with Sky TV which my husband was pleased about.. would recommend this gorgeous BB to anyone.. views spectacular 😍 great to explore Chester and venue into North Wales .

Nothing not to dislike

The location and the quality of the home. Nice and quiet. We were out and about all the time, basically only using the B&B as a sleeping pad. The property has great facilities but if you don't use them then you are not getting the best value for money.

Drinking coffee in the room out of tiny ornate cups and dinky tea spoons.☕ which is the style and decor of the entire home. 🤔.That said, many may love it.

Susan was amazing looked after us very well nothing was to much a lovely relaxing place and also the lovely handsome digger to. Garden is huge and the scenery just beautiful. definitely going back again. See you soon.

Nothing not to like.

A lovely restful stay at Tall Trees, we were greeted by Sue with a wonderful welcome drink in the Garden, followed by 2 very restful nights sleep and excellent fresh breakfast in the conservatory with wonderful views

The location was wonderful- the grounds and surrounding area are lovely. The heated pool is a definite plus. The breakfasts were delicious- fresh ingredients which were well cooked. Our room and the property were spotlessly clean. We used our own but the room had all the toiletries you would need. Our host Susan was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Little touches in the rooms such as bottle of water, little chocolates and biscuits were nice. There is lots of outdoor seating - we particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony to have a drink because the views are beautiful. The B&B is in a handy location for exploring North Wales, and was a peaceful and relaxing place to come back to after a day out.

There was nothing we disliked and a little TLC or attention would add to the overall experience, such as darker/blackout curtains in the bedrooms, bigger duvet on the bed, fixing snags (windows locks not quite working properly, seals gone on windows). In our room it took a while to get hot water and when it came through it was hard to shower as water would be either too hot or too cold. There is nowhere to eat or drink in walking distance so just be aware you would need to drive for this. It wasn’t an issue for us, but helpful to be aware. There are no TV’s in the rooms. Again not an issue as we knew this from booking site and brought an iPad with us and there is a TV room in the B&B. The listing clearly does not include TV in rooms and just worth being aware when booking.

The pool was heated and a rare facility to find in Wales, even though it is a b&b, you have full access to all the property and its facilities. It was also very private. Susan is a Fabulous host, we had a very warm welcome and were offered a welcome drink and a beautiful plate of nibbles on the terrace. The breakfast was very tasty and the table was immaculately set. We will defienitely recommend

Susan and Owen are lovely couple who welcome you with open arms.their accommodation is outstanding in beautiful location,they have a bar where you can help your self to any drinks and just leave some money in the honesty box.The breakfast is absolutely brilliant it sets you up for the day the heated swimming pool is fabulous. Will be going back

Susan and her family were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel has a great feel good vibe. The location is beautiful with the surrounding countryside. The food is excellent and the service second to none. We had an amazing time at Tall Trees and plan to return many times in the future, particularly to host our Wedding in July 2022 ! Thank you for everything, you made our stay with you unforgettable.
