Gorgeous property, just been refurbished. Very welcoming owners. Lovely decor. Good location. Our dog was made very welcome too, a dog bed and bowls were provided too. There were some nice touches in the room, bathrobes, a fan ( it was a very hot day) the bathroom even had little jars with cotton buds and cotton wool pads. The towels were lovely and big. Breakfast choice was good and the ingredients were freshly cooked and of good quality. There is a lovely little bar area and they even have their own mini cinema in the cellar! The owners have obviously worked hard to make this a lovely place to stay. There is also a nice garden with seating. It’s well located and only 2 minutes walk up to the town - which is very pretty.

The only downside we found was you can’t park outside to drop off due to double yellow lines. However the hotel does kindly provide a free parking permit to the car park behind the police station. It’s a short walk.

Manorhaus is in a great location. We attended a wedding at Ruthin Castle. The castle is a 5 minute walk away so this was fantastic for us. The parking was brilliant. The long stay car park is literally 2 minutes walk away. The parking permit for free parking was also nice to have. Tea and coffee facilities in the room was really good and we appreciated the little extras in the room such as hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers and the shampoo and conditioner was of good quality.

Guest wifi service wasnt very stable. The room was slanted and whilst this adds character to the room it unfortunately made the bed uncomfortable.

The room was ok. Clean and a good standard. Free parking and you can use the permit in some other areas too. The area is nice. A few good places to eat. Would stay again in this hotel but would pick a bigger room next time.

The room had a wet room/toilet rather than a standard shower tray. Not to my liking but it seems to be a trend these days.

really clean and comfortable room and bed. amazing location just off the square. still quiet and peaceful. easy check in and check out.

as everything was digital we didn’t really have any contact at all with the staff. it might have been nice to have met them. also both nights we were there the restaurant was fully booked out so we couldn’t eat there.

Location great. Good size rooms. Powerful shower. Helpful staff. Very clean.

Try to avoid room 9! At the front of the building right next to the front door. Guests returning late at night and also guests leaving early can be clearly heard. Bed comfortable and large but squeaky in areas.

central, parking , wonderful host - the room was exactly how it was photographed actually had a large tv, bathroom had shelves , great mirror , hooks and rails to hang the towels.

Staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could check out a little late. The room was lovely and clean and the garden was nice to spend time in. Thank you for making it dog-friendly! Our pooch Jack loved his stay here. :)

I like the look and style of the hotel and the check in procedures at Manor Haus.

Toilet position a bit cramp in the wet room - a few inches to the right and the tiled wall would have been out of the way. I know it was a small room but could have done with a small table to use.

Key was difficult to turn in the door lock to our room due to the lock being so close to the door frame

The hotel was clean and comfortable and right in the middle of the village

Unable to park at the property but close enough to alternative parking locations
