Friendly staff, very welcoming and happy to help where possible. Was staying for just the night so wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles, just somewhere to sleep which was cheap and comfortable. And thats what it was.

Didn't have locks on the outside of the room doors, which would be an easy fix to make guests feel safer about leaving things in their room whilst popping out. The room didn't have a TV neither. But the owner told us that the rooms were a work in progress so I'm sure these issues will be corrected soon enough. All in all a comfortable stay for what I wanted it for.

The Inn is very conveniently located in the heart of Doddington Village, close by shops with excellent transport links to other centres and within easy reach to London. The Inn keeper is super friendly, and only too happy to make his guests very welcome, and to assist with all their needs. It has a real warm welcoming village feel and the staff are friendly and professional. All facilities are clean, with all amenities regularly prepared and maintained on a daily basis. I have had a great experience staying here currently, and would thoroughly recommend the Inn with it's warm welcome. John

Little breakfast options on offer for an early departure. I was shown items in the kitchen to help myself to.

The padlock on the outside of the room door was alarming. I'm a female staying alone, I was told to take the padlock into the room with me (but another padlock could easily be fitted to the door instead) and assured I would be safe which it was just be aware of this if you are planning to stay alone. It did turn out to be perfectly safe.

it is clean, very quiet overnight, you can rest in peace, it has a kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and the staff is very friendly, I recommend it with confidence

I spent over 3 hours in the Hotel bar, because the staff was very friendly, especially Kevin, I have no words, 10 stars to everyone

After an exhausting day of traveling, arriving to such a warm welcome was an absolute pleasure! Kevin went above and beyond to accommodate us, it was a great experience.

Doddington is a pleasant village and the pub is conveniently situated within it, with plenty of parking and spacious rooms. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

The facilities are basic, although it should be stressed that you get what you pay for. Lack of tea / coffee making facilities and breakfast were compensated for by the exceedingly helpful proprietors rustling up tea and toast on demand and treating me like one of the family. Sadly the lack of food and decent beer meant that I preferred to patronize the neighbouring Three Tuns (decently served Woodforde’s Wherry and reasonable pub grub) and the Anchor in nearby Wimblington (walkable, and with its own very drinkable Anchor Bitter on handpump) during my stay.

It's in a good location and the owners/management are friendly.

Not sure who's fault it is, but a full English/Irish breakfast is stated in booking.com This does not exist. Additional bathroom facilities are needed for the number of rooms. Security needs to be looked at.
