Fantastic home in lovely peaceful location with wonderful garden which Eileen very kindly showed us around. Breakfast was excellent and very punctual. Both David and Eileen were lovely hosts and very accomodating making sure that we had everything that we needed. Loved their wildlife ethos, being able to see different wildlife in their grounds and of course the lovely pointers. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely location, nice and quiet and great view from the room and whilst having breakfast. The home owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Highly recommended as place to stay and enjoy the local area or just for work.

If I had to complain about anything (just being very picky now), but the TV in the room was only small, it would have been nice to have a more modern TV around the 40" size on the wall. Apart from this I couldn't find a fault.

Happy to reuse towels but when a cleaner re folds them not only do they not dry but we didn’t know which were whose! Needed to be left where we hung them

Lovely spacious propert, nice and clean, set in big farm with an accessible large back garden area and outside seating. Comfortable beds and clean linen, clean washroom and common areas. Breakfast in sunny warm garden room was a special delight.

Nice clean lovely quaint place . Dave very informative ,and could not have done more to help. Thanks to his wife also. No doubt working behind Dave with the other lady keeping every in check..

Another guest double locked the door ,as we could not get in. Dave says no one should touch that latch as the above coded pin lock was secure enough. Maybe a sign on door or explain to guests prior Not to touch bottom lock. But certainly not Pointers fault.

Breakfast was superb, hot, fresh and really good quality. Plenty of choice and well cooked and presented. The hosts were attentive, pleasant and obliging.

Can’t think of anything negative.

Lovely room that was beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed, our host was very accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts were very nice and an excellent way to start the day. Highly recommended accommodation and I am sure that we will return!

pointers guest house was an absolutt gem of a place, from the front gates, to the animals on the property (very cute puppies), to the gardens and the rooms. we really enjoyed our stay here! Eileen was absolutely lovely in greetings us, and we felt so welcome! Thank you for having us.

The water pressure on the toilet was really bad.

it was convenient as it was not far from a family function we were attending

property was quite large and took a long time to heat up as heating was not on for arrival and still didn’t seem to get that warm even when heating was on
