Beautiful view and great breakfast
It would have been good to have better seating to watch television. Awkward to sit up in the bed due to sloping ceiling and metal headboard.

The breakfasts offered were great - more on offer than I could want, including vegetarian options. Flexible and friendly owner - checked if things ok. Asked for feedback or if anything else needed. Good amount of interaction at breakfast, checking I had all I wanted alongside giving me space to enjoy quietly. Some helpful suggestions for getting to the village via a "back route" if didn't want to walk along the road without a pavement.
Location was a little more tricky for walking than I had expected. I found sloping roof (especially in shower room) a bit tricky and think someone a bit taller than myself might find difficult. Gave feedback that a "mattress topper" would probably improve comfort as I realise they would not necessarily know this themselves. Feedback gratefully received which I appreciated as I wasn't sure whether or not to comment on it!

A warm welcome from Keith. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and an ideal stop on my journey to London. I would have been happy to stay longer but had time constraints on the length of my trip.
I'm used to country lanes so although the road to the village was a bit busy, I was too tired to walk, but it wouldn't have presented problem. However, any one unused to walking in the country, please walk facing oncoming traffic, you're easier to see, and it's safer for pedestrian and driver. Amazing how many people don't and then complain!

Lovely setting on working horse stables/livery, surrounded by pastures, barns, grazing and stabled horses. It is a farm so very pastural with lots of animal activity and 8 cats to say hello to. A nice welcome on arrival and secure easy parking. Room was spotless, tastefully decorated, very comfy bed, nice little telly, excellent Internet. Tea and coffee a nice touch with added water bottles. Peaceful views from the window over looking the paddocks. Bathroom is your own private one and just across the hall with a lovely big bath and a really powerful shower - immaculately clean and bright. I loved the easy pace of the farm and wondering around meeting various animals. Breakfast was served in the family kitchen - cooked to order and very tasty indeed, and nice to chat with the host as he prepared it. Very relaxing home. If you're into equines this is the place for you.
Nothing really, every box was receiving a big tick.

The hosts were extremely thoughtful and accommodating. We explained we would be leaving early and not require breakfast but they were willing to make it early for us. (we do not eat so early in the morning). The room was small but had everything you needed, tea, coffee etc, somewhere to hang clothes. We were in the attic room which is en-suite which we had not expected and was a big plus. The views are outstanding and they have even fit a window that opens out into a wide vista. For the money this B and B is outstanding value and we will certainly be returning. We would 100% recommend this B and B and we are normally hotel people but I think this experience has changed our view of B and B`s for the positive
Nothing to dislike

Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked by Keith with local produce, with lovely views of the fields and horses. Only two rooms for guests here so lots of privacy, your own private bathroom, only saw other people at breakfast. Extremely quiet area. Very warm welcome and good guest information in the room. Cosy and warm room, comfortable bed and in a lovely area with lots of history and good pubs! Would definitely recommend. Previous posts mentioned that bathroom lock did not work, this has been fixed. We did stay in a bed without a duvet but the cover and sheet fine and room heated so we were very comfortable here. Would fully recommend
Wouldn't change anything

The property was great, the host greeted us, we were later than expected but within check in time and I did update with messages and showed us to our room. It's a good size with amenities to make your own drinks. The bed was really comfy so a good night's sleep was had after a long motorcycle ride. Breakfast was delicious & very flavoursome. We had good conversation, so we were very happy all round.

Location ideal for our purpose. Breakfast excellent choice. Friendly host and enjoyed talking to other guests who arrived after us.
Room facilities were in the roof space of the farmhouse which meant it was rather smaller than we had expected. The bathroom facilities, especially, were very small in a compact space. The shower cubicle and hand basin were particularly small. Luckily, we are both small adults (5ft & 5'6") so it wasn't a problem for the short stay.
