We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast in Scotland, run by a lovely Dutch couple. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and their knowledge of Scottish whisky's was impressive! The rooms were clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning, which was made with fresh, local ingredients and served in a charming dining room. Overall, I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone visiting Scotland. The hosts truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, and their passion for hospitality and whisky culture shines through in every aspect of their business. Love the property. Easy to find using google maps. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, safe and with a in suite bathroom. Cleaning of room and bathroom was done daily with clean sheets and towels. Location very central within 5-15 minutes of most major distilleries. Great breakfast included daily a la carte with big portions. Dinner available for purchase at great price. Whisky bar in premises available for tastings with good selection at very affordable prices. Will definitely stay here again in future. To top it off amazing views of the country side.

Everything was superb from the moment we arrived. AJ welcomed us and showed us where everything was in a friendly manner. The room was perfect in every way, including ruling out monsters under the bed! We had the full Scottish breakfast each morning with good quality products and fresh eggs from the family hens. On our second evening we had snow and next morning Siebette had cleared all the snow away from around our car before we had even gone downstairs for breakfast. The location was perfect, peaceful and picturesque. On the day it snowed it looked like a Christmas card setting, beautiful. It is a whisky lovers heaven and even for a tea total person like myself so very interesting on many levels. We had great banter with both AJ and Siebette and will be back for sure. Would and will recommend to anyone and everyone.

Couldn't stay longer!

Your host AJ and Siebette are absolutely amazing. They are following their dream to give you an amazing guest experience and combining their love of Scotland and Whiskey. If you are a whiskey lover, you will be amazed with their over 500 whiskey you can try as a very reasonable cost. Some rare finds here. If you are not a whiskey drinker, this facility is comfortable, the food is great (recommend their supper offering too) and hospitality amazing. Clean and modern facilities. You are a few minutes from Dufftown and close to many distilleries. If you go to Speyside, you need to stay here.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

The hostess is warm and welcoming and happy to make good suggestions. WiFi is free. The room is warm and spacious. The whisky lounge has a fireplace and so many excellent choices. Meals were varied, generous and really good; we had breakfasts and two dinners. The other guests were delightful and full of suggestions.

Don't use your GPS take A95 to get to this B&B. This was not the fault of the hosts this was google maps.

Everything about our stay at The Gables was FANTASTIC!! We enjoyed every minute. Our hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Of all the 12 different places we stayed on our journey through the UK this was our absolute favorite. Thanks again AJ and Sebetta. Slainte Mhath! Dave and Arleta

The only thing we did not like was leaving. If we could have stayed longer we very much would have.

Hosts were some of the nicest people I have met and they made their "home / BnB" welcoming and comforting when you got home after travelling to distilleries throughout the day. They told stories of the area and we were even learning more things about local distilleries even when we got back to the residency.

Siebette and AJ communicated very well before the trip and we’re very friendly and warm on our arrival. They are very passionate about Scotland and whisky and gave us lots of tips on things to do and distilleries to try. The room was comfortable and the food was lovely with enough variety.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

A truly amazing experience. We could not imagine a more special place to have stayed for our holiday in the Highlands. Siebette and Anne Jan were the perfect hosts, and the house itself was magical. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful, and the views of the countryside were breathtaking. There were even three adorable cats that kept us company! Overall, we were blown away and will surely look to stay at The Gables again during our next visit to Scotland.

The hosts at the Gables are two of the friendliest and welcoming you will find anywhere. The house is spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable, the breakfast delicious and plentiful, and there is a whisky room with over 450 choices!!!
