Dunallan hosts provided a comfortable room with exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and quality of food for breakfast. Attention to detail is evident e.g. highland shortbread in the rooms and lovely toiletries. Above all they are so welcoming and skilled in making everyone at ease. They are genuinely interested in people and value each and everyone. It is a handsome property with generous proportions - the rooms are large but cosy.

There was nothing to dislike.

Stephen & Ginny were incredibly friendly and accomodating hosts, both to us and our dog. The room was clean and comfortable and every little detail had been thought of, with dressing gowns and an excellent range of refreshments and toiletries in the room that you don't always get in a B&B. We had a delicious breakfast every morning too and Stephen was always incredibly friendly and chatty at breakfast. We wouldn't hesitate to return!

Great hosts, very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the Cairngorm area. Very clean room and comfortable bed with our room getting freshened up and restocked, ( we were there for 3 days). Roll top bath was a treat and shower was powerful and refreshing, great toiletries and bath robes, having our own spacious bathroom and the top floor of the House to ourselves was luxurious without being pretentious. Breakfast very good, with plenty of choice. Easy parking and great location. Would highly recommend, a pleasure to stay there. Thank you

Minor thing I banged my head on the eaves in the bedroom we stayed in as it is an attic room, which was my own fault as I wasn't paying attention. I didn't realise when I booked that the room had some eaves, I am 5ft 11 and anyone taller and older may struggle, this really wasn't a problem though for us.

The owners were lovely and very friendly and chatty. The bathroom was very large and beautiful, with soft white towels. There were plenty of little extras - toiletries, refreshments, sweets, toothbrushes & toothpaste. All lovely touches. The bed was comfortable and the room was very warm. The breakfast was really good.

The bedroom was in the attic so there were a few staircases to get to it. The walls were sloped which made it very difficult to walk around the room without constantly bumping your head. I would stay here again but not in this room. The breakfast cereal (with milk already poured) and juice was brought to the table by the landlord but I would have preferred to have got my own.

A warm welcome from Ginny and Stephen, who very kindly accommodated our late arrival. Both rooms were lovely and our double on the top floor had the added surprise that the little landing was exclusively for our room and separate large bathroom, so it was very private and spacious. Our boys were very happy with their twin room on the first floor. The showers are excellent, and for our bath there was the thoughtful provision of bath salts etc for tired muscles which came in very handy after a full day walking around the Cairngorms.

situated in a perfect spot (right opposite Craig’s pub which just happens to sell the best pies we’ve ever tasted and a whole list of local whiskies) ripe for a stroll through the Anagach Woods, down to the River Spey and the town centre. Plenty of parking, rooms cleaned and changed daily. Loads of tea/coffee/biscuits in the room and refreshed daily. breakfasts were superb and Jenny/Steve were perfect hosts

Stephen and Ginny are perfect hosts. Ginny's breakfasts are amazing. Stephen is a very sociable and interesting person and we enjoyed our morning chats. The room we had was on the top floor and was extremely nice. There is a separate, very large, bathroom for this room with both a shower and bath. Very luxurious. The price is very good. Stephen and Ginny go the extra mile to be helpful. We hope to stay here again sometime.

Everyone, ideal location for what we needed, clean and tidy. The owners, Stephen and Virginia were great, very pleasant and helpful, breakfasts were delicious.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property that we didn’t like, I would definitely book again and recommend them to family and friends.

The breakfast choices were excellent and the quality of food was excellent. Because of COVID breakfast was ordered the night before(by 8pm). The tables were well spaced. The fruit salad was lovely- strawberries, grapes and melon. Plenty tea( tea pot) and coffee(cafetière) available. I had poached eggs, bacon, tomatoes and mushrooms….all well cooked and delicious! I even asked Ginny how she cooked the tomatoes!

Great central location for many attractions Good sized room including large bathroom with free standing bath. The staff were excellent, very communicative during breakfast creating a pleasant environment. Excellent cooked breakfast in the morning. Overall excellent value for money
