The food was very good. We really enjoyed our evening meal. The menu wasn't extensive but we liked the selection offered and our chosen meals were excellent. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. The lady who tended to the rooms was not too busy to say hello and exchange a few pleasant words. The hotel was close to various amenities and the area was pleasant. The hotel was easy to find. We will stay again when we visit the area.

There was nothing we didn't like. It just seemed as though they could do with some extra staff to cover the various areas. Saying that, the young man who was covering never seemed flustered or stressed and was consistently polite and happy and we were not kept waiting long for food or drinks etc.

I booked very last minute, and checked in at 10pm. Key was left in reception foyer for me. I stayed in a double room in the annexe building, and this was great. The bed was very big and comfy. The breakfast was a table with cereals etc on it and Full English to order. The breakfast was lovely, A really nice, clean cooked breakfast, not dripping in oil etc. For the money I pad, it was exceptional value, and will most likely stay here again when up for work.

Hotel free wifi was poor, but i had a better mobile signal, so really wasn't an issue in any way.

Good well cooked breakfast served every morning along with a nice selection of cereals, the hotel is a short walk into town where there is a reasonable amount of restaurants. I ate in the hotel a few times and the food served was nicely presented and tasted delicious

Linen and towels all nice and fresh, bed very comfortable. Breakfast lovely and plenty of it. Staff were excellent and very helpful, especially breakfast waitress.

The room was a little tired and could have been fresher. Bed bases a bit marked and furniture tired. Shower wasn't very powerful and temperature hard to regulate Could'nt get bedroom window closed and vertical blinds rattled all night

Really friendly staff who worked extremely hard to make sure your stay was comfortable. Breakfast was good and we also had a meal in the restaurant which was also very nice.

Room was a little tired and could do with a makeover but it was still comfortable and clean so not really complaining and this was made up for by the staff and the food.

Lovely place with lovely staff. Location is brilliant as it is walking distance to the train, Glen Moray distillery, cathedral and Johnston's of Elgin. Thought it was very comfortable and handy place. Room has everything you need and bathroom was spacious.

Rooms a bit dated only, which likely makes them a bit cold. Would modernise the bathroom if I had to be nitpicky with something

Excellent breakfast .Excellent staff who were very helpful and friendly. The location was two hundred yards from the station and close to the town centre. The welcome and goodbye were as if we were long lost friends. This was value for money. We paid four times this cost at another location recently

The hotel were fantastic at communication. The cooked breakfast was tremendous, definitely wouldn't starve. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the location was perfect for both the train station and the town.

There was no toilet paper in my room, I had to request some, just an oversight.

Staff all excellent & helpful. Food very good and reasonable price. Bed very comfortable. Cleanliness very good.

Very small t.v. & poor reception on t.v. Shower door wouldn't close fully & bathroom door did not close. Only one choice of draught beer.

Easy access with good parking facilities. Rooms spacious and well appointed. I needed a low floor because of hip problem and it was reserved for me. Dinner choice was good, wine choice was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a wide choice of Continental and cooked to order. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.

Not really anything to dislike.
