Gorgeous views from the front onto the Clyde, and from the bedroom onto the beautiful garden (complete with atmospheric lighting) Lovely clean room, good size, comfortable and fully furnished with tea, coffee (with decaf options for both), milk and biscuits, and equipped with a mini fridge. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and I was delighted to find they were using Stornoway Black Pudding. The hosts were delightful, perfect balance of most helpful (answered all our questions about the excursion/route we had planned that day) and non-intrusive. Would absolutely return if I was back in the area
I really can't fault the place or the hosts in any way. If I absolutely had to think of something that wasn't a positive point it would have to be the shape of the (otherwise gorgeous wooden) headrest on the bed, we couldn't help but bump the back of our heads when we were sitting on the bed as it feels like it should be further back. Not even a minor inconvenience, really

Breakfast provided was delicious, wide range of choices to suit all tastes and served very efficiently. Nigel & Helen were very kind and chatty hosts, and helped me with any requests I had. The room had all amenities you'd expect, and the bedding was very comfortable. The en suite bathroom had a good shower and quality towels. Location is 10 minutes from the Dunoon ferry and with a spectacular view of the Holy Loch from the front of the house. An ideal base for touring the beautiful area of Argyll, with many stunning forest walks a stones throw away by car or bicycle.

Room was scrupulously clean and tastefully decorated. The fridge in the room was a bonus as the milk for tea was fresh. Breakfast was well presented and plenty of it, and the view from the breakfast table was 2nd to none. There is plenty of off road parking and the B&b is central for lots of trips and activities in Argyll and Bute. We had to arrange an earlier check in time to fit in with a family wedding. The hosts happy to help us with this.

Liked everything. The place is immaculate, nicely decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. It’s a credit to Nigel & Helen. We used it as a stopover on the long drive to the Outer Hebrides, and it was quiet and we had the best nights sleep and a hearty breakfast in the morning. Not too far from Dunoon for food in the evening. Nice view over the loch from the front.
There’s nothing not to like.

I received a warm welcome from Helen and I met Nigel. Exemplary hosts. My room was spacious with a large bathroom. The bathroom was exceptionally well appointed with a roomy shower cubicle and very good water pressure. Kettle/tea/coffee were provided with fresh milk from the fridge.
Simply that you need to plan your evening meal as it is a considerable distance into town.

This family run b&b is in a wonderful location overlooking Holy Loch in Sandbank near Dunoon. The owners were friendly, and the full Scottish breakfast really tasty. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good shower. We loved this accommodation and would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
There was nothing wrong with the property, it was just a little difficult to find, however when we did the views were breathtaking so no issues there. The address looks as though the property is in Dunoon, it is not, Sandbank is another village. There were no options to eat in the evening so be mindful you will need to go back into Dunoon or one of the surrounding restaurants.

Helen and Nigel were very supportive and great human beings. Definitely best location to stay. Accommodation is neat and well maintained. It's just near bus stop, for people using public transportation this accommodation will be very comfortable.
Nothing, but will propose to keep a microwave oven in Dining area.

Nigel & Helen are super hosts ! Fantastic breakfast quality and choice - lovely surroundings! The area is worth staying longer ! Three days were not enough!
Room didn’t have lake view but this is largely made up for by a stylish breakfast room exposed to the water front.

We had a lovely welcome from our warm and friendly hosts. The Clyde View was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Everything felt new, fresh and comfortable. Great shower with good water pressure! We had a wee fridge in our room which was really helpful, with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Such a lovely touch. The breakfast was amazing- incredibly generous portions and well cooked. The view from the house was magnificent, and there was a gorgeous sloping garden round the back with a marvellous viewpoint. We loved it!
We loved every bit.

Lovely clean bright and airy bedroom and ensure bathroom. Lovely views out the bedroom window. Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Lovely strong water pressure in the shower. Fantastic choice of items for breakfast
Front facing bedroom meant you got the noise of the road outside which was quite a busy road. However, having said that, we did have the bedroom window open to allow fresh air in and I am quite a light sleeper.
