Breakfast was excellent and our server a true delight. We ate dinner there too on two of our three nights because it was so good! Bed was comfortable and room very clean.

Bar that was under our room stayed busy til about 10:40 on the first two nights - that was fine and expected when you’re in a hotel like Inverkip - but whatever music they were playing had a loud heavy bass that was repeated over and over - it was wearying by the time they ended for the night.

Such a lovely find. The building is old and that itself gives it a little charm, but the food was delicious and staff absolutely brilliant. At the last minute I had to travel alone as my husband was unwell and as a lone female I felt safe, which is something I think is really important.

My room was just above the bar so the noise carried upstairs, but it was quiet from 12 onwards (I stayed Friday/Saturday). It did sound like a lively night had my partner been with me we’d have gone down for a night cap. The mattress was pretty firm and not what I’d usually like.

I had a journey where everything went wrong arrived very late =and tired ..from somewhere they ,although the kitchen was closed managed lovrly warmimg soup and bread that and a toddy set me up for the next part of my jpurney home and next mornings breakfast was lovely.. the staff could not have been more helpful the room and bed comfortable and a good atmosphere.

We were welcomed by Brian, a senior member of staff and he helped us with our luggage and explained everything we needed to know about the room, how to order breakfast, meal times etc. He was very mannerly as were all the other staff. We had absolutely no complaints there. There was only one thing that spoiled our break - our room happened to be above the pub and on our last evening (a Friday) there must have been an extended licence and the noise was overwhelming. At 11.30 I decided to phone and was told it should be quitened down by 12.00. which it did. As I say, it spoiled our break. At breakfast the next morning, Anna, the lovely young woman who served our breakfast apologised so I assume any complaints, etc are passed on to the next shift coming on duty.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is an old property, well appointed. Our room while small, appeared quite recently renovated/updated - the bed was very comfortable and the towels in the bathroom deserve a mention as they were lovely (good size and very soft). We had lunch and dinner during our stay (as well as breakfast) - the food was delicious (a varied menu with emphasis on local produce).

The room was very small. We've been told before that if you book with booking.com you get the worst rooms and sadly in this case it was true. Room for us was ok but some people would not be happy with this.

Warm, welcoming restaurant with good menu choices. Husband reckoned he had the best steak he's had in years! Breakfast was also freshly prepared and cooked.

On the whole, it was comfortable. Rooms are clean and functional altho a little on the tight side if travelling with luggage. The hot water in the sink was very patchy but the electric shower worked fine.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a meal in the bar and it was excellent- a 2 course special. The bar was pleasant and busy. Breakfast has a good choice.

My room was up several flights of stairs - it's a very old building so you wouldn't expect a lift and I did have help with my bag.

Accommodation, staff and breakfast were great! Lovely little hotel in Inverkip. Indeed the room was small, but comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff was lovely.

Like stated in other reviews as well, please note that the restaurant isn't open all days and food options are few in the area

Has a good ‘pub’ vibe, food is excellent, especially the breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

A bit noisy with music from the pub and guests in the beer garden. Although this to be expected as it is a pub. The TV was poor quality.
