Location was very good with nice rural view and view of Clyde in the distance. Breakfast can only be described as INCREDIBLY GOOD.I have a hearty appetite but struggled to finish the traditional Scottish and that WAS WITHOUT ANY CONTINENTAL FRUIT WAS BEAUTIFULLY fresh and inviting but just had no room Fist time ever that breakfast did me until evening meal apart from a coffee.

Absolutely nothing although TV control did decide to play up a bit but was quickly remedied by a very good humouredvGordon. Took photos on phone of house and rooms but CANNOT download.SORRY.

Hosts Gordon and Lorna very welcoming and extremely helpful. Made to feel home from home. My dietary requirements catered for exceptionally well right down to vegan chocolate bar in our room. Wonderful and plentiful breakfast. Our room very clean and comfortable with lovely views. Bright decor in this unique and beautiful property. Loved the location! Great for local woodland walks and just a 20 min walk to the beach. As a B&B would highly recommend. Hosts go above and beyond. Will be back!

Beautiful B & B, spotless room, super breakfast and wonderful hosts. Left a hoodie behind and Lorna posted it to Ireland, the next day. Quiet location with nice rural views. No food available in the evening but got a very nice pizza in Made in Italy in Inerkip which we brought back to our room, and Gordon kindly provided plates and cutlery.

Could be a liitle difficult to find but the hosts sent good directions before we arrived, and Google Maps appears to have it spot on.

It was really comfortable and cosy in the castle and the room was a good size, with a nice TV, comfy bed, table for reading, tea facilities, a lovely shower and a nice green view from the window. The owners were lovely and very accommodating with dietary requirements and providing an extra bedsheet for us. They even looked for boardgames for us to borrow when we asked for a pack of cards! There was a lovely glen walk down to the high street from the hotel which was a bonus!

Well run by Lorna and Gordon who were very helpful. Very high quality breakfast, served with humour and good grace. Room was spotless as were the bathroom facilities. Views over the countryside were a further attraction. Close to ferry port to Bute.

Quite hard to find as the property is a bit off the beaten track. This should not deter people from using the B&B as we got used to the route to the property.

everything, we pulled up and we’re just blown away by it’s beauty. the castle it’s self is just wow and then you get the added value of the views and amazing hosts thrown in. the food was fresh and tasty and the room not sure where to start as it was beautifully decorated clean and bright with beautiful views to wake up to and so peaceful with everything you could possibly want and need in a room away from home. I could go on and on and will definitely book to return.

Fantastic, all round. Gordon and Lorna were excellent, very down to earth and welcoming hosts throughout our stay. Nothing was a bother and they made sure we had everything we needed. Accommodation was terrific, great room with lots of little extras - they have thought of everything. Breakfast was 10/10 - with special mention for catering for gluten free. Would highly recommend this place - loved it.

What a find, so glad we booked The Langhouse to break up our journey home. Gordon and Lorna were very friendly and welcoming and we had a lovely room which was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and a very comfortable bed! The breakfast was amazing; very well cooked and lots of it! There was also lots of choice of cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts etc and is very good value for money and would certainly stay again.

The Langhouse is a beautiful house. The decor inside is worth a visit in itself; high ceilinged rooms tastefully decorated, a comfy bed, a generous supply of coffee/tea/hot chocolate & biscuits and a stunning shower room. We were met by the hosts at the door and the breakfast was delicious and, for the first time (!), too much to eat!

Car needed to head out for an evening meal.

The Langhouse was beautiful, Lorna and Gordon were perfect hosts, very welcoming. The view was breathtaking and the rooms beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing, perfectly cooked to your liking, you certainly wouldn't leave hungry 😋 we highly recommend the Langhouse and look forward to visiting again. The Lindsays 😁
