Warm and welcoming hosts. Fabulous house and wonderful, comfortable, room and bathroom - with a fantastic shower. The library provided a great space to chill out and relax with a good selection of interesting books - including what felt like a complete collection of Terry Pratchett books, which is great for fans (like me!). Tea/coffee-making materials included Jammy Dodgers: who could fault that ? Location is great for those travelling up or down the M6 or as a base for local exploration. Local town with facilities is about a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was outstanding. I promised Helen I would not give her an 8. But I will. Plus a 9. And a 10. And an 11. This place is easily worth five stars and, without doubt, is one of the top three B&Bs we have visited over the years. VERY highly recommended.

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave such a lovely house and its warm and welcoming hosts.

Beautiful property with wonderful decor and furnishings, and superb comfort, especially the suitably cool interiors on this very hot weekend. I was in Eccleshall for a Christening party and those of us who stayed at Eagle House enjoyed a comfortable and sound night's sleep - unlike some of our party who stayed elsewhere - and an easy bathroom to freshen up. Lovely hosts who were welcoming, very helpful but also not intrusive. They seemed to have thought of everything I might need. I felt cocooned and really well looked after all weekend. Wish I could have stayed much longer! Thank you so much!

I used to live nearby and had no idea Eagle House was there. Its location was superb being a short walk into Eccleshall, a town with many good pubs. Eagle House was really well appointed and the owners really helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was to die for. I would definitely stay here again.

I dont think there was anything we didnt like about Eagle House. Unfortunately, though nothing to do with Eagle House, we were there on a Tues & Wed night and the Old Smithy (the #1 restaurant in Eccleshall) closes on those two nights! However, there are other good pubs/restaurants in the town.

The house is beautiful with an interesting history . It has been beautifully managed and presented as 3 luxurious bedrooms and a fabulous small apartment. The decor is stunning and the beds are fabulous. We were fortunate as a family to book all 4 rooms, and it made our stay for a family wedding more special. We would highly recommend this as a perfect place to stay in this area.

The welcome by the owner's, very attentative. Wonderful host's The whole experience. The accommodation is absolutely fabulous. The breakfast was amazing. Compliments to the chef!!

Everything was absolutely perfect

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Fresh milk and water was provided in the fridge and decent tea/coffee facilities were available. We specifically chose bedroom 2 with the bath and it did not disappoint. The hosts were welcoming, engaging and worked hard to make our stay pleasant. The breakfast was outstanding.

There is very little that could have made our stay any better. Any adverse comment is really outside the control of the owners and would be nit-picking. The car parking is at the rear of the property and out of sight.

Beautiful Grade II listed house - surpassed our expectations. Lovely couple made us feel very at home. Amazing breakfast. Great location 5 mins walk from the town.

Beautiful building inside and out.

We've stayed at Eagle House before, in one of the standard rooms, and it was excellent. This time, we stayed in the Eagle's Nest apartment, because at the time it was the only room available. Next time we're in the area, we'll book the Eagle's Nest if we can. It was absolutely superb and we'd highly recommend it.

This is a total nit-pick, but the frying pan in the kitchen was quite small and I made a fool of myself trying to do a stir-fry to impress my girlfriend. There was cabbage and beansprouts flying all over the place, it was shameful. A bigger frying pan and/or a wok would be a good addition to the provided kitchenware.
