The grounds and place are beautiful. Breakfast was really nice too and value for money was unbelievable. It has a very long scenic drive where you might see birds of prey or squirrels or pheasants. When you consider being able to use the gym and facilities also it makes it a great deal.

The only problem was trying to find it at night don't follow the sat navigation follow the signs. Wasn't any local conveniences as is very rural. You need to understand this is also like an athletes village but I thought that gave it character. Could do with a bit of a deep clean also

From the very friendly welcome by the delightful American receptionist to the sheer beauty of the mature trees and woodland walks, this is a real gem! Room was like 'posh' student accommodation with very comfortable beds and excellent shower. Breakfast was in the Manor house, a short walk from the accommodation. The breakfast fare, both hot and cold, was very good indeed. Lovely staff in the Manor too! Very personable young man serving on the bar.

If you are expecting a hotel with serviced rooms then think again! A very brusque response from another receptionist when asked for clean towels. We had to track down our own! Rather unstable wifi availability. Rather isolated location but this could be an advantage.

We arrived late as been to a loc show event. 5 miles from western park. We were shown to a nice clean room. Decent towels and was quite. Was in the new building which had a lovely view of the lawns (saw in the morning). Room was modern looking and bright Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and good quality food. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Plenty to do in the local area. Hotel is in the countryside but there are lots of local restaurants within 10 miles

Limited car spaces near the new build but still able to park. Check out is a little early at 9am. Should be a little later. 10 or 11 but we were little late leaving but no-one said anything

Travelled down for a classic car show on Sunday. Stayed sat and sun night. The place is a training centre for Athletes. Comfortable rooms and the restaurant is massive. Reminded me of being back at school but in a good way. Buffet breakfast. Help yourself to everything you want or need. Couple of bars. Large one closed for easter. Small one very friendly. Met some nice people staying the night. Wasn't expecting a bar so very nice surprise. Staff were fantastic! Will definitely save to favourites and stay again.

Bed was too soft for my bad back but I can sleep on a washing line so didn't phase me. Also the soft bed would probably please the majority so can't complain.

Lovely spacious and clean rooms steeped in traditional features. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with lots of choice.

We ate in Chapters Dining on the first night food was exceptional and price very reasonable, but on the second night restaurant was closed as the chef had called in sick. No other option except Queen’s cafe which was virtually sold out of food so we had to travel off site to eat. We didn’t risk this happening again so we ate offsite site for the remainder of our stay.

Room was lovely & clean with a useful desk. A decent shower and the bed was very comfortable

The parking was quite a walk from reception and the restaurant and the accommodation was a good walk from the reception and down several flights of stairs. I have asthma so this was not very helpful for me. It would have been useful to know this in advance so I could have called the venue and asked if any alternative room was available. As it was they were fully booked when I arrived and it wasn't possible to move room

The room was very clean and not tired in anyway, plenty of space and good tea making facilities. The food was excellent and excellent value, had a three course meal in the evening for the same price as a single pub course for no less quality. Breakfast was superb to set you up for the day, again with basically as much as you could eat.

The wifi on offer to guests is an insecure network which I found difficult to access, the username and password were readily available but with my phone/computer settings it didn't give me my normal access, gave up with the computer - not being tech enough. Asked the staff and they said that some guests had a problem with their settings. This is not usual when staying in other places

The grounds and setting were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty hot and cold options. Value for money is exceptional Beds are really comfortable and the room was lovely and warm too

Hard to navigate the site we arrived in the dark and struggled to find any parking having to leave the car in the main carpark and head back up to Kent Hall in the morning we saw a car park out the back but had no idea how to get there. Signage was small and difficult to see. Bathroom had flaky plaster and the shower was leaking constantly (C2)

Very good value if you want somewhere quiet and out of it with very good gym facilities and exceptional grounds to the main house. Also the breakfast is exceptional as you might expect where you have a center of excellence for multiple sports.

Its just a bit out of the way is all. Around 20 minutes into Telford or 10 minutes into Newport by car. Not really anywhere you can walk to outside of the grounds.

Breakfast excellent had plenty to eat, staff very friendly.location stunning nice village atmosphere / community, felt very relaxed bringing my partner next time.keen to look out for deals and hopefully stay longer.Room was immaculate.

Security staff could have been more knowledge able, when asked about the fasilities they hadn’t a clue and was interested in finding out, they could’ve talked about the benefits of the site and ska about visiting for a day.
