Izzy greeted us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful at all times. The place is easy to find and the location ideal for visiting lots of local places of interest. The room was extremely clean and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was just right and cooked to perfection. Our dog was also made to feel very welcome, and spoiled with treats. Will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

If I had to be critical of anything, the TV is slightly on the small size for it's location, but this is a minor point when you consider the whole package.

The accomodation was finished to the highest standard and immaculate, the bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept in. The only noise around us was that of birds singing, absolutely beautiful area. Communication around our booking was second to none . The owner was helpful, obliging and super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Not to mention a delicious breakfast delivered to our door...who could ask for more....I would certainly recommend it to anyone...a perfect base to explore the many different attractions in the area...the host had compiled a super helpful guide to that as well..there was absolutely nothing that hadn't been thought of ...my only regret was not being able to stay longer ...thank you

Beautifully appointed property in a quiet location, a short distance from a small town. Isabelle is a joy and nothing is too much trouble… she’s extremely accommodating. The breakfast is awesome 😁 The added extras like complimentary bottles water and choccies are the ‘cherry on top’.

slightly over furnished, but it’s all lovely furniture. just makes the room a little tight for space if you’re in for more than a night.

Excellent peaceful location with off road dedicated parking space, good refreshment tray and lodge was immaculate Host was amazing very helpful advised of local eating places. Bed was comfortable and shower superb. Awoke to a superb cooked breakfast with fresh Coffee and Orange Juice What a great find and will definetely stay again if in area

Highly recommend this property for your stay, Isabelle the landlady/host is so lovely and accommodating, the room was immaculate and has everything you need, from Kettle, complimentary biscuits, water and also a small TV. The rooms are to a very high standard and kept immaculate. Isabelle has also taken the time to create you a small information pack to let you know what surrounding attractions there are, including takeaway menus, which was very helpful. If I am in the area again for work I will most definitely be using this venue again for my stay! 10/10

Only slight, slight issue I had was phone reception in the area, I am with O2 and my phone reception dropped to zero bars, and had to use internet instead, this is of course no issue created by the amazing property, just my network in this area so have a back up plan if you need to make or take calls on your mobile.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was modern with a lovely big shower. There was a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was brought to our room and was very good. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating It was convenient for the festival we were attending. We would highly recommend this property.

There wasn't anything that wasn't up to scratch. We had a good experience.

Beautifully styled and decorated room with a large bathroom and huge comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of room for our travel cot. Parking just outside the door. Isabelle was the perfect host, super friendly and kind. Communication was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and dietary requirements were kindly catered for. I’d recommend Lyonshall Lodge to anybody visiting the area and wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Thank you!

Isabelle was very communicative both before and during our stay. The cabin had all we needed for an overnight stay including some complimentary cookies which came in useful on our walk the following day. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delivered to the room and there were chairs and table both inside and outside. It was a frosty morning so we didn't take the outside option! The cooked breakfast was more than generous and tea was served in a good sized pot - always great to help yourself to an extra cup.

The cabin was very cosy and comfortable but the floor was a bit cold underfoot (it was February) so take slippers in the winter months :)

Isabelle was an excellent host - welcoming, accommodating and helpful. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and with all the facilities you would need. We both enjoyed our stay at Lyonshall Lodge. Comfy bed, great night's sleep, lovely clean and beautifully decorated room, yummy breakfast and the icing on the cake was a great host who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you Isabelle, we hope to be back soon.
