We stayed for one night with our six year old granddaughter after a day at Marble Arch Caves and Florencecourt. We had a suite overlooking the green. She was so excited to see all the extra ‘rooms’, her own big bed and the great restaurant downstairs. She loved the menu, as did we, and ate everything. It can be a delight to see the simple things that truly impress a child. For her it was her own fluffy bath towel rolled up on her bed. Ours were in the bathroom but this was especially for her!

The heat was on when we arrived but room was cold by eight o’clock and we could not find how to restore it. We could have gone downstairs to ask, but didn’t as we had early lights out after three chapters of James and the Giant Peach.

the room we stayed in was perfect. We had stayed in a self catering in Donegal and the heating was lacking. We both had a hot bath on arrival on the Saturday, lots of hot water.. Carpet on the floor. They had a bar of real soap in the bathroom so i could generate a lather for shaving. the double bed was spacious and very comfortable. Bedside lighting was easy to find as we like to read in the morning. Coffee and iron in the cupboard. We had dinner in the dining room, Food was excellent and staff very friendly. the breakfast on Sunday morning was amazing

Hard to say, this was an almost perfect hotel room, Perhaps the small garbage bin in the bathroom has to be opened using your foot. Would be better off with a simple metal wire basket for easier access,

Customs house country inn is a very pleasant place to drink, eat and stay. Its in a brilliant location with plenty of natural bueaty to explore. The rooms are clean, Spacious and very homely with lots of eye for details. The staff were extremely polite, attentive but not over bearing ,brilliant at there Job, and seem happy at work. The food was again homely and casual, But with great taste and freshness, The resturant offers a great selection of artisan beers, wines and cocktails along with a spectacular coffee menu. Check in was very efficient and stress free. Breakfast is included in the price of the room, but they don't cut corners!! The best of the best not just offering a rasher and sausage! There is something for everyone. This is my second time in this wee gem and defo not my last!! Thanks to all the management and staff for such a great stay!

I didn't dislike anything, However being fussy, I would say a bigger television for the junior suite would be the icing on the cake !! Lastly a new seal on the shower screen in room 8 might help things.

Excellent staff, great breakfast, good dinner. Very Comfortable beds, lovely and clean bathrooms and toilette, big bath tube was a plus for a hot bath in epson salts After the stairs To heaven walk. Toilets and bathroom/shower are separated whcih makes it a nice novelty and more hygienic.

It’s location in the centre of the town so at night time you could hear cars Going by. Only fault I can find is that we had room number 1 and every time somebody came in and out of the hallway door it felt Like They were Coming inside my room. But We will definately go back There.

Clean comfortable room. Quiet. View of roof tops only . Next time I would ask for a room with a view over the lovely lake. This is a country inn and that is exactly how it feels. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the food is the restaurant is very good and well priced. We were given a large loaf of homemade brown bread to take home.

We had a wonderful stay. Very friendly and welcoming staff and an excellent breakfast.

There are relatively new owners who are gradually upgrading this establishment which means there are some spots not quite finished. There is a bit of an old smokey smell in the stairwell but in honesty this did not detract from an excellent value for money stay.

There is a small self-service for cereals, yoghurt, juices, fruits. The cooked breakfast was very nice and very filling.

Overall interactions with staff was reasonable and polite. However, there was definitely a lack of enthusiasm. As if not expecting their customers (guests) to require this.

Decor was lovely, easy to get to and staff was very friendly.

The room got a bit hot, no ac and the window would not stay open. The bathroom also had a unenclosed shower with a curtain, the entire floor got wet when showering, which was a bit annoying and dangerous.

The room was beautiful and a good size. The location was perfect for what I wanted to see/do. The staff are a real credit to them - so helpful and friendly.

The room was a little chilly. Could have done with the heating being on, even for a little bit. But there was a lovely big bedspread that I was able to cuddle up in.
