The property was in a beautiful location. Although we had booked months in advance we still got a view of a roof and not the lake view we booked with booking .com . We stayed two nights and asked about a view for the second night . Receptionist wasn’t very solution based or costumer friendly . Told to come back tomorrow and she’ll see if she could accommodate us. It would have been nice to get a call in the morning to see if we wanted to move to a room with a view . Would have been a nice touch … but it didn’t happen . Didn’t want to chase them down .
The dinner service was very poor. Younger staff give off the impression you were an inconvenience to them. None of them looked like they wanted to be there . Lack of leadership and direction on the floor . Waited for desert menu but was forgotten about on the first night . Desert was 35/40 minutes coming out the second night. Floor staff lacked costumer service. Sorry guys

We booked a three night stay in June 2024. We had requested a lake view but didn't pay extra to secure it. We were advised to check with reception on the morning after our 1st night as to whether one would be available for our second and third nights. To our suprise we were upgraded to a lovely mini suite with a lakeview so we were thrilled with this! Thanks to the staff on duty for making this happen. The lake view and the brightness of the room were a lovely bonus to our trip.
The space in the lobby is limited and there isn't a bar as such or entertainment which people might need to be aware of before staying. We still enjoyed our stay but this is something to be aware of. We did get drinks at the bar on one evening, and sat at the bar, which seemed to be the exception rather than the rule. The bar maid was lovely and very accommodating but it's essentially a bar in the resteraunt. Other than that, the views are spectacular and the staff were friendly.

I loved the venue, the hot tub on the balcony and the location in general. Particular shout-out to Lisa, the waitress who served us at breakfast, very kind and friendly. Hotel receptionist were very kind too. Rooms perfect, clean, welcoming and very very beautiful.
There were 3 things we didn't appreciate even if we'd like to come back. It's just a comment for future improvement. Staff at the swimming pool was not very friendly nor welcoming, mostly the older lady staying there looked annoyed overall. Lots of waiters in the restaurant at dinner struggled with English so it was a bit difficult to communicate but they were very very kind. I work in a 4star hotel and when we have guests celebrating special occasions we usually leave amenities in the room, or even just a card to make them feel special. I specified it was a special occasion but nothing was done. It's fine every hotel has its policy and habits, it would be much appreciated anything to make it special though

Loved the buffet combi of both continental and Irish. Soft eggs! The barmen spontaneusly gave us an ice bucket when he heard it was our anniversary.
The room had it all! Only thing missing: just 1 soap and 1 teaspoon for 2 of us. The shower could get a liquid soap dispenser like the conditioner. If there is a concern about theft, disposable plastic spoons will be fine🙂 Items not working: the bathroom extractor fan and the coffee machine. Put a sign up at the sauna with a time limit, some folks hogged it for socializing. Dont dim the lights too soon before health centre closes, its like saying to customers "hurry up, Im in a hurry to get home"🙂

We had a lovely stay, we arrived earlier than we expected too and although our room wasn’t ready yet. We headed for the 5 course Sunday carvery which is have to say was excellent, the staff were wonderful our 5 year old daughter is autistic and only eats certain foods this wasn’t an issue one of the wait staff went to the kitchen and got her food, just wish i could remember her name she was so lovely and engaging our daughter. Our room was clean, spacious and well decorated. Bathroom again spacious and spotlessly clean. We also went to the pool and again the staff were lovely with our daughter every one has to wear swim caps, we explained she had sensory issues with her head and there was no issue with her not wearing one needless to say we were like prunes getting out. She’s not a great sleeper so we were up super early and had a little walk round the grounds which are beautiful. Breakfast didn’t start until 8am and around 7am the lovely night porter who was on reception went and got us a pot of coffee while we waited. Breakfast was also lovely and had a good selection. This definitely will not be our last stay at the Killyhevlin hotel.

We loved every second of our stay. It was our 11th wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday, so we decided to have a night away. On arrival, we went to book in and found that we had been upgraded to a suite, which was a wonderful surprise. Our room was amazing, large, clean and over looking the gardens and water of lough Erne. We wondered through the hotel, saying hello to the ever so polite staff, we found the bar area and decided to have a cocktail (well, it was a special occasion, lol) Bar staff were great and quickly knocked up a delicious strawberry daiquiri. One of 4 we had. We met my parents for an evening meal, we were brought to our table by a young chap who again was very polite and we were seated next to the window over looking the gardens and water. We ordered our food, and when it arrived, we definitely were not disappointed. Hot, tasty, and looked great on the plate. The waiting staff were very attentive, asking if everything was OK at the right times. After a great night's sleep in such a large comfy bed, we headed for breakfast, having a nice warm, smiling good morning from reception. We were greeted at the entrance of the restaurant and brought to our seats and told to help ourselves at the buffet breakfast. We were very pleased to see a wide range to choose from, well laid out, continuously topped up and counters wiped and most importantly very very tasty. We would like to thank all the staff for a wonderful stay.
In the gardens, the hotel had the robotic grass cutters doing their stuff. Maybe moving forward, they could be put away during the day with kids running around as we noticed young children messing around with them, pushing them down the embankment towards the water. We also noticed on the patio a lot of receipts and paper napkins on the floor. Maybe going forward, the staff could be trained to pick up litter as they go about their work clearing tables, etc. Maybe a member of staff who can serve cocktails be at the bar at all times as there was a kerfuffle finding someone to make them, and making sure the ice buckets and drinks garnishes are topped up, tidying bar tops so senior staff doesn't have to tell staff off in front of customers.

It’s a beautiful clean and relaxing hotel.
Just one thing. The outdoor hot tub is fabulous. On numerous occasions we witnessed teenagers in it. So I thought on the only one occasion I would take them in for 5 mins. At this stage there was no one there not even in the swimming pool. We were less than 2 mins in and we where told no kids!!!! I was there alone with both my boys whose behaviour was exemplary which was evident as we played in the pool for over an hour I had to leave also as I wouldn’t leave them unattended in the pool area. Although other parents did and that was ok obviously. My point is police the hot tub at ALL times and stop under 16s or don’t pick and choose because I was an easy target!

Breakfast was excellent on both days. Day 1 restaurant was under pressure but staff were excellent. Evening meal on day one was excellent with good service
We booked 2 nights B&B. We were tired the first evening after a busy day and didn't fully realise until next morning that we were book into a disabled room, plus smokers could be heard at the hotel entrance. Hotel reception sorted the problem by moving us to 2nd floor room with a lake view for our second night

Room we had was lovely with a great view over Lough Erne and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is just a short distance out of Enniskillen and very suitable base for touring the area.
The food in the evening was not up to the standard we would expect for such an hotel so we only ate once in the evening which meant we had to travel and not able to enjoy wine with our evening meal.

The setting is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring Fermanagh. The staff are the best - a warm Irish welcome at reception, in the restaurant and the bar (Kate was wonderful - we stayed two months ago and I still remember her name!) We were a party of four (3 generations of one family) and they gave us interconnecting rooms on the ground floor - exactly what we needed without knowing it!
The rooms were uncomfortably warm, but there were fans provided to help with this. I'd say 9 months of the year, the warmth would be very welcome!
