Stunning, peaceful location. Beautiful, characterful building. Excellent food. We had both breakfast and dinner. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed in the Tedstone room, which was very clean, comfortable, and cosy. Extremely comfortable bed and linens. Brilliant huge shower, great towels, lighting and toiletries. Loved the bathrobes. Hospitality tray well stocked and restocked for our second day plus fresh water which was really appreciated.

Could have done with net curtains at windows as didn't feel very private. Easy to close curtains but wanted to keep room bright. No hand wash or soap in bathroom but used shower gel which was plentiful.

The room was excellent and above expectation. Ate in the restaurant and was very pleased with the food. The meat was great quality and superbly cooked. The vegetables were all excellent and very well presented. The Gravy (or Jus as advised by Chef) was absolutely wonderful. Very good wine to accompany the meal. The staff and service was very pleasant and informative. The next day our Daughter and family joined us for breakfast, all accomodated with no fuss and a very good breakfast was provided. All in all a great experience. Location was our main reason to book but everything contributed to a satisfying stay. Will use again.

A few board games in the snug area as part of the library. Would help we had our own Scrabble (sad I know, but a good game. which my wife won by over 100points!)

Beautiful location with stunning views! The manor was quaint, very clean and provided high quality service by some really lovely staff. We had such a good night’s sleep. The vegetarian breakfast was so delicious and high quality.

There was very little we didn’t like. Some minor things to feed back for improvement were: dedicated hand soap would be nice (and more hygienic) to have & maybe some spare loo rolls could be kept in the bathrooms. We needed an ironing board but the team at the Manor was very prompt to bring one up to our rooms.

Very lovely staff, friendly and kind. Comfy bed. Clean room and bathroom. The dinning room was lovely with the fire place.

In the booking it stated there would be a bath there wasn’t, I paid for the supreme to ensure we got a bath and we didn’t. The shower was sooo loud when you turned it on for 5 mins. The room said patio and balcony, we didn’t have that that would have been down stairs. I felt very intimidated by the welcome email with rules and threats, I would have cancelled but I booked to close and would have had to pay the cancellation. It’s very expensive £4.40 for a pint of coke. And £3.30 for half a lemonade. I know there is no where near by but even Hilton prices are only £2.50 for coke.

The Manor is a beautiful place to stay. Our room was beautiful, amazing views, very clean, the bed & pillows incredibly comfortable & the toiletries smell divine. The staff (Paul & Molly) really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent - breakfast and dinner. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

We only found out upon check out that you had to request for the room to be serviced, so we came back to no clean cups, and the bed wasn't made. It wasn't a huge problem, but heads up when we checked in would be helpful.

What a wonderful time we had! Staff are welcoming and so polite, nothing was too much for them, customer service was fantastic! our evening meal was 10/10 absolutely delicious, as was the breakfasts. Our room was immaculate, the bed was so comfortable, with lovely pillows which made for a perfect night's sleep. we had penty of tea/coffee and the soaps and creams that smelt devine! Just perfect x

The room was far too hot on the first night, but night two was better. The room didn't have an overhead light, which made it dark in places.

Dinner, breakfast all excellent, and the Staff superb, especially Jane.

The room I was in was very small, but comforatable - there was no shaving point in the bathroom. Worst was as the room overlooked the car park, where the bins are located, at 5 am in the morning woken by orange flashing lights the full works and noise as the bins were emptied ... 5am in the morning ?!!

Dinner and Breakfast were both excellent, and the food preparation and standard of service were exemplary. My only criticism was that we were put in the top room of the property, which had sloping roof sides in the bedroom and the bathroom. (I bumped my head quite a few times.) Also, the room was quite poorly lit. Other than this we were very pleased with the property as a whole.

the hotel is very olde worldly and traditional in its look. it’s warm and welcoming too. our room was lovely, the bed and bedding so so nice, top quality and we both slept very well. The shower was super, very powerful and plenty of room to move. Tea tray was a nice welcome with plenty of choice.

The breakfast was a complete and utter let down which was such a shame after spending the night in a beautiful room. You were only allowed one item from quite a restricted list. my husband had the fry up and I ended up with a bowl of porridge. Even a slice of toast would have been much appreciated. a big let down for us.

We were in the area on business. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who was very polite and got us checked in very quickly. We had the offer of help with luggage and was taken to our room. The room was very nice and we had a comfortable stay. I have food allergies but all this was accommodated at breakfast time. All.in all a very nice place to stay. We will return soon
