It’s a beautiful well kept grade 2 listed building and the room was lovely and comfortable with stunning countryside views. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, it was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a lovely garden. Food provided was also very good and well presented. It was also very well situated in terms of being walking distance to Bewdley’s attractions.

Most places we stay in have an in-room safe and small fridge which would have been beneficial for both security and keeping drinks cool especially in summer. This property did not provide these items. Although the food provided was good, there could have been more choice at breakfast eg more fruit (eg melon) and yoghurts and perhaps a continental option e.g croissants.

Breakfast was lovely, but.................as a solo guest and not at my best in the morning I'd rather be seated alone. Similarly, if my wife had been with me we would have wanted to seat together to have a private time together. Wish I'd ordered breakfast for 7:30!

A hidden Gem...Please don't let the secret ou 🫣😊❤️👍 Immediately the lovely staff greeted you at the door. The property, with parking at their doorstep was so beautiful and peaceful. As was my room Annbolyn. The dinner and breakfast was beyond my expectations seved in lovely appointed quiet rooms. A short river walk into Bewdley and returning to a peaceful sanctuary made my stay truly enjoyable. Seeing the stars from my windows at night and breathing fresh air was comforting. Leaving so soon

I booked this stay as it was my fiancé's 40th birthday and I wanted something special . It was a lovely grand stay , the room was beautiful and decorated staying with the age of the building , we had a lovely view of the garden and the most unusual tree which we was fascinated by , the surrounding area was peaceful and tranquil (we have a 5 year old so just perfect for us ) and literally no more than a 10 min walk into the town and Riverside which had a insightful museum , beautiful gardens and lots of places to eat and drink 🍸 I had booked this for 2 nights but due to very sad family circumstances we had to leave a day early, we was gutted we had to go but the owner was so understanding and sympathetic and even only charged us for the 1 night we stayed ..very very kind ! So I couldn't recommend this place enough 😊 we will be back ! Xx

The location was excellent, just on the edge of Bewdley, easy walk into town but lovely and quiet. Gorgeous Georgian hose and lovely garden ( don’t miss the spectacular sweet chestnut tree from the time of Henry VIII! Spacious bedroom, comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast. Very relaxing. Friendly host.

The shower was a standard cubicle size, a slightly larger one would have been more in keeping with the room size, or preferably a shower over bath to have the option of a relaxing soak after a long drive. The non cooked breakfast options seemed a little limited, but the cooked breakfast was delicious so not a problem.

Everything about kateshill was perfect. Prime location tucked away in a leafy green lane with only a 5 minute stroll to the town and Riverside of Bewdley. Passing small and historic pubs and homes along the way ( look out for the blue plaques). The staff, Sam in particular 🙌 were welcoming, friendly, polite and hospitable. Understandable why the breakfast won the 2023 award, perfectly cooked and served. 👌 Our suite The Henry on the top floor had a beautiful view across the gardens and was pure luxury from the minute we entered. You have to see it to believe it! ❤️ The hotel was a historic pleasure to look at as you approach and the interior was exceptionally tasteful, immaculately clean and fresh. The terraced gardens are peaceful to relax in giving a stunning view and are beautifully maintained. Including a small allotment area. Kateshill we are coming back!

Our room (Henry) was spacious to say the least, impeccably clean, well equipped and has wonderful views over the gardens. Sam and her staff are simply the best. We received a warm, friendly welcome and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. Great food menu and drinks available. Breakfast very well organised and plenty to choose from. Property is literally a two minute walk from the town and it's array of shops, bars, cafes, museum and lovely views of the river.

Lovely place located very close to Bewdley town centre. Sam and the other three members of staff we met were all so welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in (the Tudor) was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. A few options to choose from like full English breakfast, smoked salmon or egg/avocado toast (with options to make the full English breakfast vegetarian/vegan) as well as orange juice, tea, coffee, jam, butter, cereals, fruit and yogurt. We would have stayed another night! Thank you!
