Very good location for exploring Stafford. A very comfortable room and as we were on the 2nd floor and had a dog and luggage it was good to have a lift. Excellent layout and decor had a lot of character.

We were given a separate area for dining as we had a dog. This was fine and in no way detrimental but the service was very sporadic and slow. We felt forgotten although we were in an area near to reception and with staff passing through. The staff individually were very pleasant, just not attentive enough during meals. The food varied a bit too. The first evening meal was ok but not very seasoned (a tagine) but the Beef short rib was delicious! Car park is tricky to locate though this is not the fault of the hotel and they have put signs out nearby, but the road system is difficult if you are not used to it.

location . atmosphere . Greeted by a very Friendly dog which was lovely . Fast check in the room was absolutely lovely and Comfortable and smelled really clean and fresh view from the top was excellent

the only slight concern I had was a smell on the stairs going up to the room of pee . Bare in mind I have a brain disorder so have aversions and sensitivity to smells. But other than that was a perfect stay I would definitely return

We love the Angel inn. We were there twice last year and twice just recently. It’s excellent value for money as they don’t charge for dogs. The location is stunning, sitting right on the river Severn. We are always given room one. It’s small and cosy, clean and comfortable. We will stay there again next year.

They no longer serve food except at weekends. There is no mirror apart from in the bathroom, which is no good for straightening hair etc

Lovely location with great outdoor seating next to the river. The boating club was 400 metres further up the river so plenty of boating activity taking place. Only a 2 minute walk to the canal basin and a further 5 minutes into the town. Th Black Star pub did very good meals reasonably priced and good portions.

As the property had no customers in the bar they shut early so was unable to get a night cap. It was a Wednesday in early May which could have been a factor.

we didn't have breakfast at the hotel but the food was nice and little disappoint that they close early than usual pub closes at 11 to 11.30pm. the view to the river from our bedroom was lovely and we will come back again. they had a lovely dog and puppy when we stayed at the hotel.

nothing we can think of anything that we don't like.

The location by the River Severn is fantastic, a couple of minutes walk to the town of Stourport. The hosts were very welcoming and informative. A great base for exploring this area . We visited Brockhampton Estate ( a gem ) Coughton Hall , Bewdley , Alcester and Worcester ( Three cheers for Miss Pearl and The Rough Diamonds )

Nothing but the weather !

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, room was well decorated clean and well laid out, good lighting, large TV, large wardrobe with plenty of wooden hangers, tea and coffee ingredients, bathroom again was clean well laid out with over bath shower, shampoo/soap plus clean/fresh flannels and towels were provided

A breakfast option would have been good as we had hoped to have been offered it

Very Quiet Inn... Lovely Area.. had everything I Needed , could come and go as i Pleased... decent sized TV in Room along with Tea and coffee

There wasnt anything I didnt like... But if i had to Mention a Negative that would just be the Staircases Being Narrow and Low and i kept Banging my head ( i am 6ft3) but i learned to duck very quickly haha

The location was quiet by a lovely river and 11 mins from where I needed to be in Kidderminster the next morning. They accepted pets which was really important on this occasion.

There was no breakfast but no matter room only was manageable.

Food and location were above average. I had to cut stay short due to ill health, but I would definitely go back here when I require accommodation in Stourport.

It is a very small bar, and without music everyone can overhear another's conversation. In other words it's limited privacy.
